the hindlimbs on Shonisaurus are somewhat smaller than the forelimbs.

Good work on the new version of the Rhomaleosaurus

Good work on the new version of the Rhomaleosaurus I knew you'd like that. Every part is where it should be and how it should be. I'm working on more marine animals, Platecarpus, Plioplatecarpus, Tylosaurus for the mosasaurs, an ichthyosaur called platypterygius, and some other sauropterygians like Dolichorhynchops. I just don't know what dinosaurs to draw at the moment.

Stone, I've drawn every dinosaur I could think of...Except for marginiocephalians because they bore me. And someone like me thinks all pliosaurs, mosasaurs, ichthyosaurs and plesiosaurs look all the same so by drawing them maybe I'll notice the differences. It's silly actually.

Good work on the new version of the Rhomaleosaurus I second this. It's probably* the only pliosaur that I've seen a skeleton (cast) of in person, so I always enjoy life restorations of it. *My memory is shot. I am 22 years old. This is of concern. Yes.

Generally people who aren't interested in a group of prehistoric animals tend to think they all look the same, so for somebody who isn't a fan of marine reptiles it makes sense.

Then crack open a dinosaur encyclopedia and start drawing the one's you haven't thought of then.

I did. I've drawn them all. I don't like the new dinosaurs and I hate drawing dinosaurs with feathers because it takes too long. The smoother the better. Platecarpus I feel the tail should be 3 milimeters longer. I could still fix it.

You do know there's like over 500 named dinosaurs right?
Have you ever tried to do more with color? I find that's always fun and interesting. And there's no pressure to do the same color idea twice.

Geee, no I didn't know. I thought there were less that 300, and numerous non-avian dinosaurs living today like the Stegosaurus in my backyard Color is always good. I have a few in the works, but those take time and I'm lazy. I think more marine animals are in order.

at least 500 named. That's not counting modern birds. Its up to you. But if I were you i would go find a dinosaur encyclopedia and just go through it. I guarantee you haven't drawn all they types you want to. Marine stuff is always cool too though.

There's actually around 1,500, including dubious species, general, unused 'wastebasket' taxa, etc etc.

as a tip for drawing dinosaurs with feathers, it's much less time consuming and way more pleasing to the eye to draw the protofeathers etc as a single entity over the body, instead of each one induvidually. (like hair on a human. looks better as a single shape, instead of long lines!) it's not time consuming at all, and very easy. but I know you hate feathered dinosaurs anyway, so you probably aren't very interested in trying - thought I'd give that tip though.

Plioplatecarpus. Artistic license with the back scales. I went for a retro here. Otherwise he'd be as smooth as banana Chaohusaurus, an Early Ichthyosaur from China Mixosaurus, known from all over the Earth Stenopterygius, a well known ichthyosaur from exquisite fossils. ENJOY. I'm enjoying a marine reptile binge. I'm working on several Ichtyosaurs, well known such as Ophtalmosaurus, Ichthyosaurus, Shatasaurus and Utatsusaurus. I might even draw a Claudiosaurus which is...a lizard, and the grandfather of all Ichthyosaurus. I'm also working on a scene featuring Ichthyosaurs, and a different scene including Tylosaurus. Also in the works are a Puertasaurus, which I haven't uploaded anywhere, a Kronosaurus, and a Dolichorhynchops. Also unfinished are a colored version of my noasaurids vs. Kentrosaurus, Euplocephalus, Pedopenna, Dilong and Talarurus. Also a Maxacalisaurus I've been working on since I was in HS needs to be finished. I need incentives.

Really nice. I like how you make blended patterns on your animal's skin. It looks very natural.

There's some fantastic marine reptiles on this page! You should work at a museum, emperor. You are certainly smart enough! Just imagine a wall mural of a dinosaur done by you with the skeleton of that same dinosaur standing in front of it

Claudiosaurus came out weird. That's what happens when you draw drunk. I also drew an iguana and a turkey vulture.
