Patagosaurus for ArtEvolved
Jiangjunosaurus, a recently described stegosaur. Now I've drawn all the well known Stegosaurs. I wanted to do Monkonosaurus, but I...I don't know if I can! They say it would have looked identical to Stegosaurus (Like Jiangjunosaurus here, they don't seem to get too much different from Stegosaurus)
^ Oh, I can post some skinny reptile photos. Some of them because they are starving, or loaded with parasites, or sick, some of them because its just what the species looks like naturally. On the other side of the spectrum, I can also post some seriously fat reptile photos, some who are overweight, and again, some who are just naturally plump looking critters.
I think I prefer images or figures of dinosaurs that aim for the middle ground, lean and muscular, as I think they look the most "natural", but there was bound to be extremes of both, just like we see in any group of animals today. IMO, its nice to have some variety.
Anyone who has a hard time with the fact that Aves are maniraptoran theropods must not have a firm understanding the biology of modern birds!
Very cool. Did you copy these guys from anything or no? And what mediums did you use? I like it a lot. Maybe more shading on the dinos themselves to differentiate them from one another but even so very well done.
Should the Efraasia's head be smaller? I'm not familiar with that species I'm just judging by the proportions I know from sauropods in general.
On your colored one. I would def use shading to give it more depth. Other than that your stuff is great as always. Love the fact that you made the Nigersaurus a color scheme other than the same green almost every other reconstruction has made it. Very refreshing.
