Yeah, bucketfoot, still not convincing. How about you cite an example of Dawkins indicating he'd behave like a communist dictator, maybe? I've had extensive experience with both Dawkin's work and young earth creationists, and he just isn't as strident as his critics make him out to be.

One thing is sure, you never disappoint me Bucketfoot. ;D In science, I think, a new fact means there is an older fact before. On that subject there is no older fact. The new scientific fact is still "God exist", and I agree with you, we need some proofs... Hmmmm .. is that a French attempt at sarcasm - or just confusing communication? Don't know how to take your compliment, you see. ;D If you mean that I do not disappoint you because my well-reasoned and informed arguments are a pleasure to read, then I say 'you're welcome'. There is no need for a "scientific" proof of God because God is in the realm of Faith and Philosophy. That's the point I was trying to make. Dawkins makes as much sense as the YE creationists who pontificate on science (which they know nothing about). To Dawkins, science IS his 'god', and he discounts all other human disciplines that can't be measured by the scientific method. This should not be a debate about science vs. faith because there can be no common criteria for evaluating both. Hence such a debate is futile and counterproductive. Both militant atheists like Dawkins and YE creationist know-nothings are equally wrong in what they are arguing. No french sarcasm here Bucketfoot, just atheist humour... However, it's time to forget for a time your theological point of view and go to work. Your collection pics disappeared on your thread and they missed me. Try to do something please.

Further discussion is meaningless plus I have work to do. I'm not interested in bloviating any longer. You probably wouldn't agree that BHO is a radical socialist either, so short of choking the truth into you I'll stop playing. ;D

When I hear the term 'atheist', I instinctively reach for my katana. Not many people who actually experienced communism have a charitable view of atheists. Please do not bring the subject up again and I promise not to either (o enemy of mankind and civilization).

To those of you who have self-identified as enemies of humanity, you'll soon be getting a knock on the door from big burly men in black uniforms. Disclaimer: *THIS IS A JOKE* (Note for the humor-impaired). ;D ;D ;D

And no, that is NOT a joke, so don't bother asking. Feel free to think what you want, it's not a problem for me. But please, forget your katana, I don't want to heard that you hurt yourself. Very friendly, Kikimalou

If you don't know what you're doing you can self-inflict a nasty gash! That's why there's the Kendo Stick for practice for us mere mortals. You don't pull your katana out unless you have to use it - or unless you are a Master qualified for the katana combat tournaments - where you definitely can't make a mistake! Those guys have some serious mind-control and years of training to be able to spar with fully functional katanas without injuring each other! And as stated before, that WAS a joke. It was a paraphrase of a similar joke I once saw in a film somewhere ....but my sense of humor is definitely warped...I'll admit that easily ...

Well, this is also off-topic - thought closer to it - I like to think of Therezinosaurus as a dinosaur wielding six 1 - 1.5metre katanas...its pretty obvious that if they truly got to 4-5 tons, those things would have been a mighty disincentive to any Tyrannosaur prowling by ...

[ Feel free to think what you want, it's not a problem for me. Very friendly, Kikimalou Cordial here too. Dinomania can overcome all other minor disagreements. BTW - about the pictures of my collection vanishing - well, the small Japanese dino collection has been sold off - and the mammal/dino collections have grown. As soon as I get everything and get the new shelves set up, I will post new, updated pics. Be patient!!! (Its Summer and my work schedule has predictably exploded.) That's a factor as well!!

I...tend to refrain from discussing my beliefs on this. It usually is a topic guaranteed to bring up the emotions. But, for the record, I believe in God, and am a Christian. I also believe God is the Creator, I just happen to believe evolution is the process used to do it. And, I DO have a sense of humor....mostly. ;D

That doesn't strike me as aparticularly ancient Hebrew expression, tis Saxon in fact ..................................... ;D Very funny though ;D I am the centre of my universe and by definition the creative force, the Godhead if you like. I and I alone am responsible for my own actions and how the game pans out. Therein lies the difference between my beliefs and most others where the individual seeks to pass the buck to some higher power (it's not my fault the bigger boy willed it ) or the religeon seeks to control and amass vast riches. Everyone else can believe whatever they like. Bothers me not so long as they stay out of my ( *insert Saxon term here*) face with it ;D

And then you said something like "Don't let the door hit you on the but on the way out!"? ;D ;D ;D
