So, I have watched a few nature wildlife documentary the last few days. And with the rainy weather we are having here in Seattle now, I decided to spend a few hours painting some figures. I had this Tamiya figures for a while now, but never really done anything with them since they are so small! I just don't have the patience to paint such small figures ;D
It was hard enough for me to paint the larger ones ;D
Anway, watching those nature documentary, I was inspired by the cheetahs. So I decided to paint my group of velociraptors cheetah-like ;D I have to say I was very proud of my work ;D
Not so shabby,eh? ;D ;D ;D In addition to the velociraptors, there was also a baby Para and a tiny tiny oviraptor!
Anyway, here they are!
The hunters ;D ( they are about the size of Kaiyodos! )
and hunted ;D
Also, I repainted my Invicta Liopleuodon. Remember him from last year? The one that someone commented as looking like a X-mass tree? ;D The same figure, just a different look. I decided to go with the simple grey and bluish-white. Last year, Teton was going to paint my Safari Krono to look like a killer whale. We decided that it's not the best one for that figure. Also, after watching killer whales in one of the segment, I decided to go for the simple tones. I just actually followed the same pattern on the painted figure, I just changed the colors and added extra "spots" on the flippers ;D
So far, I like it a whole lot better than the original one I did last year ;D
I am planning on doing the same thing with one of my Elasmos. I think I will copy the Black version of the Kiayodo figure, yah the one with parasites ;D
Anyway, here it is, the new and improve Liop ;D ( be nice,ok? ;D)
The old paint I gave the figure last year...
I will probably use this elasmo instead, and maybe do an ichtyo, too! That way I will have a set of Invicta Marine reptile all in black and white! ;D
The new look I gave him...
So you see, the pattern is not far from the painted version, yah?
Thats it for now, till the next inspiration! ;D
