hi guys -- I'm selling my two Battat mini dino box sets, probably on eBay unless there are any great offers here. Any ball park idea of what these might go for these days?
Thanks!!!

Pete in Australia Hey Pete - You sure you're not the guy I sold my two Battat mini-box sets to in 2005 or so??? Mate, list it using all of the proper keywords in Dinosaur Collectibles and watch the bid-o-meter start churning. I would recommend a lower starting price just to get the crazies going. Once the bidding starts, its a feeding frenzy when something like this pops up.... ....hell I might have to bid on it myself .... could you be so kind as to post a link to the auction when you finally get around to starting it? Thanks!

No mate, I've had these for at least ten years, from a buddy in the USA in trade.... Thanks for the tips, I just wanna know what kind of demand there is for these. I'll be sure to post a link here.... good luck!

These are pretty highly sought after, so I would hope you could get into the triple digit range.

I can trade you a dio riders edmontonia(slightly damaged) or a pair of playvision knock-offs(Dliophosaurus and Pachycephalosaurus) if you want.

The first box has: Gallimimus, Edmontia, Ouranosaurus, Styracosaurus + Amargasaurus Box 2 has: Dilophosaurus, Triceratops, Utahraptor, Stegosaurus + Ceratosaurus They're exact scaled-down versions of the larger Battat dinos. I think these are really scarce. I'll be taking photos of 'em tomorrow. This site shows some of 'em: www.rubberdinosaurs.com/battat-1996.htm

Ok cool, when you know how much you want for them let me know. Also do you have and regular size Battat's to sell or trade? Oh and where do you live in Australia? I must have missed that you were from here.

I'm in Canberra. I sold off most of my larger-sized Battats last year, I had the whole set. Just have the T.rex left now. I'm probably going to have to list the mini's on eBay so everyone who wants a crack at em can have a go -- that, and I do want to get the best price (no job right now).
I'll post links here when I list -- almost certainly tomorrow.

Ooops, ran out of time today, hope to list both sets tomorrow. Just wondering, what do you guys find is the best time for an auction to end if you're bidding -- early morning, daytime, evening, late at night??

My dad is an expert at using ebay; his opinion being that an ending time will always be best if it is in between 7 and 8 PM. Good Luck.

Just wondering, what do you guys find is the best time for an auction to end if you're bidding -- early morning, daytime, evening, late at night?? If I want to win? Early morning or late night. If I am a seller that wants to maximize sales? just after the dinner hour (~7 pm) PST--this makes sure that most of your expected bidders within the US are potentially able to get to it. Too early--7pm EST for example--means that people in Washington & California may be in the middle of commutes right then. EDIT - And 10 pm EST is not unreasonable for people to bid on the East coast.
