Luis Rey's work is distasteful at best, somebody should break his legs for using those colours. I prefer true artists, like Sibbick.

Should have been more specific - the wattles are the only entirely speculative thing aside from the coloration (which always is). Bologna!!!! So you think it looks just like those Turkeys except for the waddles and coloration. How do you know anything about the flesh. No feathers have ever been found in association with the fossils of Deinonychus. It is only assumed that it had feathers because Microraptor had them and because Velociraptor which is younger in the fossil record had quill knobs. Deinonychus has not been found with quill knobs. Plus Deinonychus is 5 times bigger then velociraptor. It may have not needed them. If it had feathers they may have been more like ostrich feathers. Totally agree! Infact the only feathered restoration of Deinonychus i like is the Kinto/Favorite one... Ostrich-like feathers and not too overdone To Kuni: UP with the JP-style Raptors (sorry, i had to say it ;D)!

This used to be about Triceratops. I think we, the media, the world has given these raptors enough attention. Yep. BUT! Although I was the one who posted the image, I do like it EXCEPT for the wattles, and ONLY for personal aesthetic reasons! The posture is spot-on and all credit to him (Rey) for it. (Please forgive me, I haven't had a chance to reply yet.) Oh, and a small photo of a Triceratops skin impression was posted a couple of pages back, before all this Deinonychus nonsense.
