I have been repainting some extra figures as time allows and inspiration pops up ;D These herd is the last few I have done in the last 3 months or so. Invicta diplo: This one had so much damaged on it, that I had to work gluing parts of the tail! I have wanted to play around with just using black and white, so this is one of the results ;D Battat Amarga, another badly damaged figure from a big lot. Well, I tried doing a black sauropod, but really struggled on this one. I eventually settled with the yellow highlights. Unfortunately, the reds on it looks so intense and bloody- looking in the photos (unlike in person), I thinks its the contrast. A Camarasaurus, knock off ( good one) of a Kaiyodo figure. I was really happy with the result. Amarga and Camara side-by-side ;D A Quagga! ;D I'm slowly working on a small herd of them ;D Original Safari zebra figure. Finished the trio of Invicta marine reptiles... finally! ;D No more bright colors like the original ones I did last year ;D I basically just followed the original paint design of the painted figures, but used darker colors ;D Elasmo: Ichtyo: Design based on a dolphin ;D The trio, I believe I already posted the Liop before Well, thats that for now. The only one left to finish is the Safari and CollectA Tylos ;D Hope you like the new look ;D I had so much fun painting them, and it really makes the figures look so "different" from their original form ;D One of this days, I will herd them all up to have a group photo ;D

Yeah, these are great, I especially like the Invicta marine reptiles. Always makes me sad that the quagga can be included among a load of extinct animals...

On those darker critters, instead of red, try a light pink, or flesh, maybe even a light grey. Less contrast.

Thanks Kev, I will try that and take a different photo. Ya, definitely need to take another of that amarga, just did not translate very well on this one.
So got the Safari Tylo done! ;D It's very... interesting ;D Will take photo when I get some free time ;D

You grin widely an awful lot. I do worry about the face-pain you surely experience. However, what I really meant to mention in this post was that Diplodocus - Stoneage is right, it's fantastic and I neglected to mention it. Kudos.

These are great I really like the paint job on the marine critters. I'll have to find some of those Invictas. The black and white themes are really interesting on the sauropods. I'm going to have to try some more fanciful colour schemes instead of the more bland ones I've been doing. Once, again great!

Yah, the Invictas are good figures to modify and customize The only thing is the paint have a hard time sticking to the figures Kinda annoying, but worth the trouble

There was also a styracosaurus that was a knock off of Kaiyodo, also from the same line, that is well done. Other than that, the others are just plain scary
