Looks good so far! Are you using any special kind of clay or armature wire?

Of course!!! I´ll post more pics of the progress untill it is finished!
I am using Super Sculpey mixed with fimo. For the armature I used wire, cardboard and air dry clay instead of alluminum foil.

Looks good so far - I look forward to seeing the finished product.
By the way, does that skeletal diagram say 'Monoclonius', or am I squinting a little too hard...?

It´s a Monoclonius Nasicornus!! I used it´s skeleton as a base for my Styracosaurus because it is almost the same and I didn´t find a good skeletal reconstruction of a Styracosaurus!! Hehehee

Your 3rd figure? Wow, then you sure have heard about a thing called "talent", don't you? You going to paint it? BTW, you could post your previous sculps, would like to see them!

Great work. I am impressing with how well the skin looks, when I try to sculpt it the shape seems to come out great but the skin always looks phoney. Any hints?

I hate it! ;D Just kidding! ;D Wow, what an impressive piece of sculpture you created! I'm really liking the way you did the skin textures, very nice. How I wish I have the talent to make something so cool like this.... Anyway, I can't wait to see the finish product, BTW, I am a sucker for ceratopsians in case you don't know, so I'm really loving this piece

It's looking good. What did you base the head on, out of interest? (I mean, any particular specimens or drawings.)

I wonder if the tail is too long. Its hard to tell really but thats just me being extremely nigpicky and anal. The sculpt looks fantastic.

Wow! You are very talented, especially since you said this is only your third sculpt! I don't know if the tail looks too long to me, maybe it just needs a little more "meat" on it. Looks a little skinny to me. ;D Do you think the upper beak is extending out over the lower one a bit too far? To me, he looks a little "buck-beaked," lol. Very impressive job so far! Really like what you've been doing with the detailing. Have you been thinking about colors yet?

This is really good! Are you sure you haven't sculpted stuff before? ;D The only thing I will agree is the lower beak is over lapped too much, but otherwise, impressive!

Right, guys, the upper beak is a little bit long,I tried to make it shorter. Here are some shots of the actuall state of the head. The surface is not smoothed with turpenoid yet,all the sharp edges will dissapear.

yeah!Under the "skin" there is a replica of the skull, but I started to put layers of clay over it and lost the reference in the beak. More details!
