Aaargggh I want those models. Especially as the animals probably lived alongside each other. (The Carnegie versions somehow aren't quite the same. ) Is your Albertosaurus toppling over a bit? Maybe you could position Styracosaurus goring it!

Maybe you could position Styracosaurus goring it! The toppling over may be caused if one decides not to use the supporting metal rod that comes with the model. It's similar in my specimen. However, I like it more without that rod.

Since you live in Germany, where did you get yours from? Out of interest.

I got mine from www.urzeitshop.de - was about €18 for the Albertosaurus and €13 for the Styracosaurus.

Looks like I'll have to use my much-deteriorated knowledge of German to find out. It doesn't look like they have it anymore. They have the Styracosaurus here though: www.urzeitshop.de/product_info.php/info/p160_Styracosaurus.html. It's €12.51, whatever that means. I can't believe the 1:1 Tyrannosaurus head they have for sale on that site! DO WANT.

Yes, it seems the Albertosaurus is gone. Urzeitshop ships within the entire EC. They are normally quite expensive, but they are the only shop in Germany I know that has these X Plus models. And they are very customer friendly. The strange prices currently on their site are due to an easter discount of 10% on nearly all items.

Loverly! Wouldn't mind some of those trees too. Particularly the one next to the Schleich Giraffa...Brachiosaurus.

I also don't like using the post.

Yeah, this supportive rod didn't even fit right in my model. You had to force it into the base because the holes in the base and in the model were not properly aligned.

I had thought of setting a few dinosaur figures atop my 140 gallon aquarium, but surely it gets old having to remove them whenever it's time to clean the aquarium or feed the fish? ;D I'm guessing you feed the fish through the hole provided for the hang-on filter.

There aren't any fish in it right now. Just rocks and gravel.

THe procon "deluxe" agustinia doesn't look all that big... There are many other larger sauropods, but I think the DELUXE is big enough. Augustinia was only 15 meters long. So at 1/40 that's about 15 inches.
