Nerdy fact: that animal is now known as 'Utahraptor ostrommaysorum', as that's the correct plural way. (I need not mention the feathers &c.)

Jealousy is a terrible thing... .....? If you mean to imply that I am envious of Stoneage's Battat collection then yes, of course I am! It's not the fault of the Battat sculptors that they went along with convention regarding the animal's name and look at the time!

I was under the impression that you were nitpicking due to your dissatisfaction that you have no Battats. But I digress.

Just pointing out how things have changed since the time they were produced. (You'll notice I've done nothing but express apprectiation for the Battats so far.)

Nothing much bigger then a turkey has ever been found with feather evidence. Also no dinosaurs in America have been shown to have feathers. Utahraptor is much older then Velociraptor and shows no evidence of quill knobs.

Utahraptor is much older then Velociraptor and shows no evidence of quill knobs. It would help if they found some arms! Restoring a dromaeosaur with scaly skin makes as much sense as restoring a bird with same. All dromaeosaurs found so far with skin impressions/preserved integument have been feathered.

;D Also we must consider that Achillobator and Deinonychus show no evidence of quill knobs!

Do we have skin impressions of those species?
EDIT: I ask out of curiosity only, someone please PM me with the answers.

Uhm, excuse me, wasn´t this thread about giving each other insight into their collections? I am sooooo incredibly tired from the feather / non-feather discussion in our forum. Sorry guys, nothing personal. Just tired and bored. And, back to topic: That Ouranosaurus rocks, I wish I had one!

Yeah, should probably stop. I'll just leave this here: PHYLOGENETIC BRACKETING.
In any case, that is indeed a cool Ouranosaurus. Worth contrasting with the hideous Schleich thing I think.

The Battat Ouranosaurus is a curious thing; it looks as though it's going to tip over but stands perfectly well. Mine is exactly like that too (and needless to say, I love it ;D).

Would I be right in assuming that you're going to leave the Diplodocus til last (of your Battats, that is)? ^_^ ETA: *Gasp* I can type 'assume' on the forum now. Um, back to topic. ;D

Um, back to topic. ;D Notice I started with the stegosaurus the figure most often put down. I'm kind of doing a worst to best figure thing. But it is pretty subjective. ;D
