Here is my Larami Collection that everyone has been wanting to see. It's cold outside and there is 6 inches of snow this is the best I can do for now.

WOW thanks! The bronto appears to be the one that look less similar to its Invicta original source... I really like all of them, though, I think I will slowly add them to their Invicta brothers

Great! And I didnĀ“t know of an Apatosaurus among them. Those Laramis seem to have a wide colour variation, too and be only equal as far as their molds are concerned. My Laramies are completely different in colour. They are an odd line indeed.

6 inches of snow? Wimp Here it's two to three feet! ARE YOU TALKING TO ME? WIMP! I walk miles through the snow everyday and I'm 60 years old. The snow doesn't mix well with pictures of my Dinosaur collection. When I get to Iowa you'll be sorry! J/K ;D

So it's Invicta I can blame for the road-kill (sorry "flying" ) Pteranodon look! It's pretty cool to see how the Larmai match out against the other lines. Cool collection!

When were the LARAMI made? The brontosaurus was one of the latest Invicta figures, Larami could have done their even before the Invicta (so it wouldn't be a true rip-off)

The brontosaurus was one of the latest Invicta figures, Larami could have done their even before the Invicta (so it wouldn't be a true rip-off) According to the Dinosaur Collectibles book the Larami Dinosaurs were made in the 90's.Early 90's no doubt. The Invicta Brontosaurus (Apatosaurus) was made in the eighties. All the Invicta figures were made in the 70's or Eighties except the Baryonyx (90) and the Lambeosaurus and Dimetrodon (93). The Larami Brontosaurus is nothing like the invicta.

Here are the Larami figures that Invicta never made: Styracosaurus, Parasaurolophus and Ankylosaurus.

I like them. Another thing that is very interesting is that some Laramis have copied the colour scheme of some of the old Carnegies...

The Larami Parasaurolophus is probably the best figure of the three figures made that Invicta didn't make.. I mean it's still the old retro kangaroo pose but at least it doesn't have the old 50's-60's skin flap! They even tried to make it scaley looking.

And they put a cheek on him too. The head is very good, has a realistic animal look.

Eh it really just looks like a humanoid version of what its supposed to look like. Sure its detailed but the body shape is pretty off no matter what way you look at it. I personally think Larami did a much better job with their whales and sharks than they did with their dinosaurs.

Larami Ankylosaurus Notice there is no tail club. This may look like some Ankylosaurs but not Ankylosaurus. Reminds me of those little figures when I was a kid, I think they were called Lido.
