Hey guys ;D
Hi Dan! Nah, I haven't bought the larger one yet so I don't have any pictures of it. I'll probably end up buying some and painted them and then reselling them though. When i do I'll post them here ;D Thank you for you comment I'm so happy you and others like them, gives me the confidence to make some more!
Meso-Cenozoic, thanks!!! I make them in the computer as CGI models. The same as what is used for all those dino shows on TV, they can be animated, etc. This cool company takes my CG model and "prints" it out on a 3D printer in different materials, etc and turns it into a real life figure. Pretty cool I think! The only down side is really the cost, they get pretty expensive to make, which is why I have mostly small dinos.
seijun, hi there and thank you! The material that I think is best is the White Strong and Flexible. This material can be painted and is the cheapest and the strongest they have (besides the metal). The only other material I would get is the stainless steel if I wanted a metal figure, of course it is way more expensive.
Its hard to explain the feel of the material (I have the White, Strong and Flexible). It isn't resin, it isn't brittle, but is more delicate than most models and figures. I think they are most like those Dinotales figures. Painting it is like painting with watercolor, the paint stains the model which is great for building layers. Opaque paint works well too.
Hope this helps and if you decide to get some please post your finished paint job! I'd love to see what people do with them! Thanks again everyone
