You're a very skilled painter, but the sculpt doesn't have enough detail in it so even a great paint job from you can't save it ;D

Except for the invicta lambeo, which still outclasses this one....but I agree, I am happy enough to have the procon one in my collection. I wish there were more skin detail, but it is fine enough. I was contemplating--still am really--painting the seperate osteoderms, but just am afraid they'll end yp looking more like polka dots than anything....hmmmm.

Very cool paint on a wonderful figure. Its one of my favorite duckbill figure, there is just something about it. Anyway, the funny thing is I tried to do that similar pattern on the tail of mine, but did not work. I painted two figures, both very different from each other. I can't wait to take photos of them so I can post it, would be interesting to see how they compare. Very nice, I like the red crest, mine is blue ;D I will be posting the DOC Therizinosaur soon

But, the invicta lambeo also owns your wallet, if you can get it, while this one is widely available.

On ebay, yeah. And thats a rare and lucky thing. Anything you can't find in stores anymore is automatically more annoying to get a hold of in my book.

But if you want a GOOD model you will go the extra mile And procons aren't even available in most local stores (i've only seen them in a couple of museum stores), so you still have to go on the internet to buy them

Maybe its because i am an ocd freak when it comes to hadrosaurs lol. I have yet to like any of theirs with the exception of the olorotitan now they gave him justice y not the others.

It´s defintively not the only Lambeo out there, Procon, Invicta and also ROM and if I remember correctly even Kaiyodo made ont. This one is special because of an unusual, mammalian sculpt. Your paintjob is very good, wheezy! Defintifely an upgrading.

I'm sorry I like good models and all but I don't want to pay too much when I don't have too. I'll settle for a slightly less accurate one if it saves me enough money.

You think $10 is too much to pay for a great figure. Well OK then

10 in that rare opportunity. Aren't most invictas more than that? I dunno. I just don't like ebay all that much. I like it so much more just being able to go to the store and seeing what I'm buying first hand before I spend the money on it. At some of the reptile shows theres a guy who has a booth with all procons and schliechs for sale. If I wanted I could just pick one up there whenever I go.

Many go for around that. The bigger sauropods go for about $20, some theropods around $15, most of the medium sized ones go for $10-$15. The marine reptiles, the troodon, and the dimetrodon can be pricey though Even so, most people don't go to reptile shows to buy dinosaur toys.

Yeah and most people, excluding this site, dont go to the internet either. There's these things called stores. My point is I like to see first hand what I get before I shell out the money for it. Nothing to argue about that.

No, I agree. I would prefer to see the figure first, but there are no stores here selling any dino toys...not even the Schleichs. My only real source was a little hobby shop, but they have cut back on ordering. They are just now getting in this year's WS and carnegie releases. And, that is all they are going to get for another 3 months.
As a general rule though, if you see an invicta for sale you kinda like, they are a good bet. Now, procons etc.....another matter. It is always a surprise when getting them via mail. Sorta like pot-luck....
