Hi All!
Just wondering if anyone had a complete list of the 8 figs. Also, how big are they, and are they very rare? Some pics would be great if anyone has them, too. Thanks!

Now that you use that Plesiosaurus more often on pictures, I can´t help but thinking you love it anyway ;-)

It is both quite photogenic and envy producing.

They aren't THAT rare, but they tend to be expensive. They are even smaller than the Kaiyodos. Most of them are highly detailed. Perhaps the Mosasaurus and the Elasmosaurus need to be redone, but the rest are classics. I specially like the Shonisaurus and the Henodus. The other four are: Placodus, Mixosaurus, Nothosaurus and Metriorhynchus.

Yes, this topic is three years old. But I like re-putting old topics back. Why? Because there are subjects that will always be interesting, whatever its age. So, I like making researches in old topcs to see what has been said in the past. Who knows, I can discover pretty neat topics in the oldest pages of the boards!

I want that clear plesiosaur.... You should find a damaged painted plesiosaur ánd find a way to get rid of the paint - I am pretty sure your clear plesiosaur will be underneath & I totally agree it's a beautiful thing!

Stripping a painted plesio feels like cheating. I cant bring myself to do it.

Stripping a painted plesio feels like cheating. I cant bring myself to do it. Yeah, I agree.... it probably should be an extremely badly damaged plesiosaur to feel OK with it.

I have a Schleich Classics Triceratops, painted in grey. But under the grey paint, where it has flaws, we clearly see the true random color: blue. Yet it would be rather tempting to recover the real blue color of the toy, I don't feel like risking ruining it trying to do that.

I bet someplace that specializes in the restoration of antiques or old art would have some tips on fixing repainted dinos.
