Yeah I tried looking up disney dinosaur toys and all I was gettinng for the raptor is the one CCM mentioned. Its articulated and chunky looking. The one in that photo looks like its all one solid piece. I bet you it was part of a board game or playset or something like that. It def looks like a Disney raptor though.

Hi How about those Parasaurolophus  The first Parasaurolophus is LARAMI. Hey, that's very interesting because it means Larami did some more dinos non-Invicta-based besides that styracosaurus and ankylosaurus... This Parasauro appears to be cloning the colour scheme of Carnegie, which is something Larami also did with a plesiosaur I just bought today: It still is the well known Invicta ripoff but has the colour scheme of the Carnegie elasmosaurus! |

I think someone must do a photo database with pics of each dino, individually. But, that's seems do be hard to do! It would take a lot of time and patience!

Great idea, Libra! ;D OK, here are a couple I'd like to know more about... The "Velociraptor" down in front center in these next three pics. The seller said it doesn't have anything written on it. And, the T.rex with the yellow and black tiger stripes just above the Battat in the top left section of this pic below.  Thanks!  Hmm, those two rex sure looks good. Is that really a Kinto variant? |

Hey, thanks CCM and Griffin. I'm thinking more and more it is some kind of Disney dino too. It's curious, I'm liking this little "toy" more than some of the museum quality raptors! ;D So, Blade you think the tiger-striped Rex might be a Sega of sorts and Boki thinks maybe a Kinto variant, while CT is thinking more towards Battat. Well, I will have to say that even though we still don't know for sure what it is, I do feel I'm getting closer than ever before and one thing is for sure, we all seem to like it! I wonder who actually won that auction. Maybe he/she will come forward someday and maybe even on this sight. Anyway, thanks guys for your input!!  |

Larami only made 11 figures: Ankylosaurus, Apatosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus, Iguanodon, Parasaurolophus, Elasmosaurus, Stegosaurus, Styracosaurus, Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus. They made 3 that Invicta didn't make: Ankylosaurus, Parasaurolophus and Styracosaurus.  |

Thanks, orthocone. Yeah, all of the ones in those first three pics are older WS and Carnegie figures, except for that odd little pea-green Bronto and the tan raptor with the blue on it's head that's down in the front. We were wondering who made that raptor. It's definitely not by Safari, but it is a cool little figure! ;D

Jasman had some neat pieces..the Raptor Pack, Carnotaurus and Procomsognathus..and especially the Gallimimus they did. They didn't make the Compy in a larger size did they ?

The gallimimus basically has a compy body, so you could just saw off the head of the galli and sculpt a compy head to make compsognathus. |

Honestly, as sad as it may sound, I think Disney has one of the most accurate velociraptor reconstructions, minus the lack of feathers. It actually looks like the bones. It was one of the few who wasn't misled by JP's raptors. Disney's are actually small in stature like they should be and really birdlike with that distinctive long narrow snout. Actually yes it is an apato, I just was thinking about diplodocus when I made that post. The authentics line did include a diplodocus too wich isn't that bad for something 15 years old. |

They have also just been called "mini safaris" and "mini carnegies". The assortment of dinosaurs included velociraptor, protoceratops, trex, triceratops, parasaurolophus, dimetrodon, pteranodon, styracosaurus, euoplocephalus, stegosaurus, brachiosaurus, spinosaurus, plesiosaurus, allosaurus, dilophosaurus, and iguanadon.    The protoceratops and euoplocephalus are extremely nice figures. |
