They do have Japan tags..at least the Rex and Spino there beside it does. I just liked the colors and size. ;D

I bought my through the Black Hills Intitute. A nice figure. I bought some favorite figures from them last year ... but I just checked the site and can't find ANY dinosaur figures in the store ... did they stop selling them?  |

I bought my through the Black Hills Intitute. A nice figure. I bought some favorite figures from them last year ... but I just checked the site and can't find ANY dinosaur figures in the store ... did they stop selling them? I was there a few weeks ago, and no, they still have lots. They don't have much in the way of the soft play giant Kinto dinos though. I also got the last pewter plesiosaur. Kinto is notoriously difficult to deal with--they have high minimum orders, the shipping is overseas and so ridiculous, and much of the time the orders are apparently not filled properly. |

I think the raptor is a KB disney exclusive. Came with an Iguanodon when I got it.

I don't think there are that many dinosaur toys in the entire state of NY outside of NYC. It's probably better that a place like that doesn't exist near me. |

Although not sure about what company makes the model, "Shinzen" clearly means that it was sculpted by one of the most famous japanese sculptors, Shinzen Takeuchi! Do you know a source where we can get this beauty? |

Can't point you in the right direction for any more, I bought it at the Collector's Fair (basically a huge flea market) from a German seller who wanted to get rid of it (he had it for a while, I saw it there last time too and the box is slightly discolored). He immediately lowered his price when I hesitated. ;D Hope someone else knows more about this figure and others like it, I wanna know what I have bought.  |
