Bullyland, Safari, Procon, and Schleich have all done prehistoric mammal sets - You want a truley neglected category look at the amphibians or pre-dinos Ya,sure. But they are such obscure ones that very rarely get made...or sell But there are amphibians like the ones from TEDCO, Bullyland,Playvision,Yujin, Kaiyodo... see? Not so neglected after all, right? Tedco made what, three amphibians as opposed to a set of mammals? Bullyland made one amphibian, with another entire set of mammals (twelve I think?) Playvision, I'll give you that, but the last time any sold was a few years ago at $352 Yujin made one and it might not even be a true amphibian! ;D Kaiyodo also made one and one fish like tetrapod, compared to at least five mammals ;D

Well, at least 2 (Siderops and Deltasaurus) that I can think of. But if we're going for ignored groups, what about placoderms? Or agnathans? Or even Palaeozoic inverts? Or early fish in general? Really, there are far too many to think of--and part of the issue is that developers often don't know what there even is, so they go with what they know.

I think the better term for the fish would simply be just "early fish" - I only mentioned amphibians as a really vague thing, I never mentioned something more specific like temnospondyls.

I was fortunate enough to get the only set at my hometown Rite Aid a couple of weeks ago! Hey, if you're in the USA these are popping up at Rite Aid (drugstore) for under 6 bucks!
