That Allosaurus is not suffering from a severe case of sunburn; it was lily-white when I got it and I have just sprayed it with a coat of primer! ;D

THANKS for showing your Kaiyodo 100 mm figures ! Especially love the T. rex & the Mosasaur! Radman - as you can see in blackdanter's thread, only 3 more figures are missing in your resin collection.

Ha, thanks, I missed that post. So I only need the Triceratops, Plesiosaur, and some kinda dinoraptor. I could have sworn there was a Dilopho and Pachy as well, perhaps a different series? Anyway thanks for the update and happy collecting!

Does the Allosaurus remind anyone else of the Dinotales one?

Does the Allosaurus remind anyone else of the Dinotales one? They really do appear similar, but the Dinotales' version is so much more lively and energetic. Interesting how a little time and greater knowledge can effect the stance of a dinosaur if only slightly.

The mosasaur looks identical to mine. I painted the base, which was snow white, and added the plant to help hide the metal support rod. The camara and rex look like they're made of plastic? The allo (is that the Antrodemus TTL mentioned) looks to be made of the same resiny material the Mosa and the rest of mine are made of (?). Cool pix, thanks for sharing these! Yours are resins? Wow! No wonder they are on a base! Mine are all plastic except for the Barosaur. I did not know they were also released in resin, all of them it looks like (even the mosa?)Now I now what collection that Barosaur of mine belongs. I think your barosaur is just painted to look like metal, but isn't actually metal.

I love the small eyes on that Sega Tyrannosaurus. The eyes are hardly ever made small enough.

That may be the best trannosaurus figure I've yet seen, I want one! Not sure if this is cheating or not since the figure is not a dinosaur nor a prehistoric creature at all. Since I don't have much for dinosaur figures (yet) I share what I do have. I don't think I've seen this one anywhere else so perhaps I'm the only one? It is a AAA 40" monitor lizard. I've had it since I was a kid, great for scaring guests. Even when it is inside the house people still ask me if it is real or alive.

It does look very cool and realistic, and at over 3 feet long must be quite an eyecatcher ;D. If you touched up the paint rubs it would look even more real!

Thanks. I'm too afraid to try and touch it up, though it could use it. That guy has a lot of history. He did have a forked tongue sticking out but that as well as some toe nails got chewed off by my rabbit back when I was a kid. Then at one point I had a kitten who used to stand on it's back as use it as a scratching post, something I would never allow these days. I should note that the 40" is from nose tip to tail tip when stretched out.

What makes this AAA monitor look so realistic is that it is apparently not a sculpt but a cast from a real specimen. In the 90s AAA made several reptiles that way, I have the Big-Headed Turtle, Platysternon megacephalum and the Chinese Water Dragon, Physignathus cocincinus, both are also cast from actual specimens. However, this monitor looks less dead than other figures, even the eyeballs do not appear to be sunken in that much. I think I saw one of these quite recently on ebay.

I used to use the tail as a weapon against my sister.

Close-up of the Sega amargasaurus: Sega Tyrannosaurus: "Who is this Bull rex? Lemme at 'em," he seems to be saying ;D Those are some great pictures! Did you order them from Japan?
