Oh yes, he did a Parasaurolophus. ;D Not just one, but I think there were 2 versions, in 1/30 and 1/40 scale, if i'm not mistaken. He did two versions of T.rex, in 1/30 and 1/40 scale too. Both of mine are 1/30. He did an 1/40 Acrocanthosaurus and Allosaurus in 1/30 and 1/40 scale. Another species he did were Apatosaurus ajax and the 3 known Smilodon species, S. fatalis, S. populator and S. gracilis. Velociraptor in 1/15 scale and Spinosaurus in 1/40 too. Unfortunatelly he quitted the production some time ago... I couldn't get all models, just those in the photos.

I have a blow up Brontosaurus(not Apatosaurus, it was a bronto at the time) that was sold at Sinclair gas stations in the 60's. Sorry no picture at this time.

The same way... His models are made from some kind of resin. He was selling copies of the original one, so the customer could chose even the paint job... My Giga's paint job isn't so good I think... but is really different of any other Giga I have ever seen, so it makes it exclusive (: ). I really can't imagine a jaguar pattern in a Giganotosaurus, but I like colorful dinos ;D...

I have a "grow" yellow and pink brachiosaurus! And dinotoyadmin has a dolichorhynchops plush. So do I (well, my son)--in fact, my store will have 15 of them by the end of the week! They are made by Wild Republic, and are the last remnants of the failed National Geographic Sea Monsters line. We will also be getting in some of the special Pteranodon made just for the line as well (sadly, the toys never happened ) And...they're here. 15 of the things--so out there, somewhere, will eventually be 15 more people that will be able to say they have one. Also got the Cretoxyrhina--yeah, it's just a lamnid shark, but it's a cool shark! And of course the Sea Monsters Pteranodon. Plus a bunch of other odd stuff, that I can, for now, claim that I have... ;D

From what I can tell, they are killing off the Sea Monsters line. Also, the BMNH connection with their dinos (the packaging is changing pretty radically). BUT--if you know a rep, can he get me a single Madagascar animal toob (toob, not action figure set)? They are not available in Canada for some reason.

Brontodocus: You know Münchehagen, don´t you? A company (forgot the name) makes these models for that outdoor park. Strange enough I got this baby on a flea market in Münster for 25,- Euro. I was told that the modelmaker sorted this one out and gave it to his friend - the seller on the market. wheezy: The Tsintaosaurus maybe is still available at the museumsshop of the Natural History Museum in Bern. Mrs Müller can help you with the question, I promise renate.mueller@bs.ch Wow, how popular this thread already is! Come on, people, I´d like to see more rare and unique figures of yours!

Nope, I got three of both. ;D YOU DON'T COUNT. YOU REVIEWED THEM FOR JPTOYS. *weeps* I don't get it, is that an outburst of jealousy or something? Or am I a heretic for reviewing for JPtoys instead of this site?

I'm condemned to directly jump into the car and drive to Münchehagen - oh, no, wait, it's a bit late in the evening ;D ... So I guess it would've been much more expensive if bought there directly? Or, more likely, it was not planned at all to make more than just a few copies from it. Looks as if it was a hollow resin cast or similar material. Okay, I have something that's unique: Tullimonstrum gregarium model. It's a bit unfair because it's self-made.

This was a great idea for a thread, Libra. Get people talking about their collections again, or at least the unique parts. I have a bunch of stuff that's rare, but I'll start with this: Kaiyodo vinyl Allosaurus. It's 13 inches head to tail-tip, so about 1:35 scale. I've never seen another one, except for the cover of Ray Rimell's book.

What keeps it standing up? Momentum! Inertia? It has a tendency to remain in the same place unless acted upon by an outside force...

Inertia? It has a tendency to remain in the same place unless acted upon by an outside force...[/quote ... And in this case that outside force would be gravity! Radman, I've seen kaiyodo vynyl allos on Rinkya (japanese yahoo!) auctions, but they were a little too expensive
