All I know is when I talked to the Paleontologist at the Paleo-Lab at the Childrens Museum they said Jack Horner is wrong. They told me it is an adult skull.

What more proof can there be? More proof? Dude, there is no proof to start out with. Its just an idea with weak evidence. Every one of Horner's points that he uses to support this idea can just as easily be wrong. What would sway me would be if they found a group of both pachies and dracos together like they did with the different life stages of triceratops. It would be very strong evidence of adults and babies living together in a herd. But they haven't. They just have two different skulls from two seemingly closely related dinosaurs from the same place from the same time....just like um i dunno a ton of ecosystems all over the world? When a new idea comes out that pushes the envelope everyone loves to jump on the band wagon and bring it up every opportunity they get to sound cool but really its just an idea...with no real proof. give me facts not ideas. Then I'll believe it. Stoneage: Did the paleontologist say any more about it? I'd be interested in the reasons why they said its an adult skull.

Basically what they said was that the sutures in the skull had already fused together. Sutures close as you age.

My two cents on the whole Dracorex/Pachy debate... ...As today there are DOZENS of antelope species living side by side, maybe back in the Cretaceous there were ecosystems with many species of Pachycephalosaurids (and Ceratopsians, i may add) living together as well

Number 6... the wood behind the fossil is supposed to depict the real size of the claw covered by queratine?

Number 6... the wood behind the fossil is supposed to depict the real size of the claw covered by queratine? I noticed that too. I would assume so though right? Pretty sweet. And stoneage, if it makes you feel better, I totally got the Horridus reference you were going for...although i was wondering if anyone else would.

T-rex skin impression Is it based on a real fossil or just made up?
