Wow. Stark raving gorgeous models yet again - why haven't I raided your house yet? ;D Thanks for the comment ....... there lives an old lady - who is very attentive - right under my apartement. More attentive than any watchdog ;D! People who she hasn't seen before are being strongly scrutinized after they've passed her door and get up the stairs to my place ;D ;D. She is of importance ....... she gets the parcels while I'm at work. copper has made me happy again! Maybe even happier than before, because now I have the most beautiful Stegosaurus in the world ;D! ....... Kaiyodo Dinoland 1:20 Stegosaurus (repainted by copper)

What a phantastic pterosaur model! Regarding the enlarged teeth at the tip of the snout and the keels on the upper and below the lower jaw it looks a lot like an Anhanguera, could it be that the model intends to represent that one rather than Pterodactylus? Thanks, Dr. Andre. I'd say you're right. I have to change that in reply #677. Thanks also for the pic of the Anhanguera skeleton .

I feel like I've seen it before on the site of some Japanese sculptor.

What is the story behind the pterosaur on the left? I feel like I've seen it before on the site of some Japanese sculptor. It's a model I bought from a Taiwanese eBay seller (see page 34 reply #677 of this thread). He sold it as 'Pterodactylus' and didn't have much information about it, so I'd be happy if you could tell me by which Japanese sculptor it is made.

Thanks Libraraptor & mmfrankford for the comments . I ordered these directly from Tokugawa's page about a year ago. Unfortunately this page doesn't exist anymore . That's a pity! There were so many wonderful models. The man is great! I guess he's only working for museums these days.

Martin actually has my Pachyrhino right now; I did the Albert a while back. I'm fortunate to have gotten some of Tokugawa's kits already, as it looks he is no longer offering them. It does appear he still has some small models for netsuke, though.

How do you afford all this? Working hard, having no girlfriend, having no car, having reached a certain age, having a cheap apartment, eating cheap food, selling AAA Entelodonts on eBay, scanning the whole world for reasonable offers, having joined the DTF = having met wonderful people ....... there might be some more other reasons ;D ;D. Yes, both models look lovely. Martin actually has my Pachyrhino right now; I did the Albert a while back. Make sure you'll show us your garrattized Pachyrhino as well ! ..... here's a "modern Dinosaur" Phat! Doki Doki Doubutu Series 1:12 Shoebill .......
