Safari Basilosaurus & Nature Techni Colour Blue Whale ..... Nice! I thought the Nature Techni Colour Blue Whale would be a good deal smaller but it seems huge next to the Basilosaurus.

Do you mean the acanthostega and xenacanthus? Because "cute" is the last thing that comes to mind when I think of a snaggle toothed fresh water eelshark...

Hey, those are pretty good photos. I specially like the blue on them and the transparent stands, gives such an aquatic feel. A little pleasure for the eyes, as they say.

Honestly, if neither the Safari Tapajara nor the Rhamphorhnychus suit your tastes, you may be hard pressed to find one better than those (in larger figures). The Wild Safari "pterosaur" is a beautiful figure. It matches Todd Marshall's painting exactly. Thanks guys - I just needed some motivation & ordered the 2 Pterosaurs ;D. Now I think they're very nice (still not sure which species the Pterosaur exactly is). Wild Safari - Tapejara & Pterosaur ..... ..... and I finally ordered the Dimetrodon that has also been underestimated by me - also a nice figure Safari Carnegie Collection - Dimetrodon .....

Well its clear what species it is it just doesn't appear to have an official name yet. It was discovered by Paul Sereno. www.paulsereno.org/paulsereno/discoveries/pterosaur.htmwww.marshalls-art.com/images/ipaleo/paleopg15/NPterosaur1.jpg

to Griffin:Thanks for the info. I wonder how they will call it. Pteronigeria or Niguera serenos to stoneage:Thanks ..... and I loved reading those good old Plastic People lyrics again. Zappa's still making me laugh after all these years ;D it's just unique!!! ..... also thought about some of his lyrics relating to the boys trouble theme, but none of those that came to mind would have been suitable in this forum ;D.

I bought 2 of the Sega Microsaurs . They're the smallest figures I'm having so far, with great detail on them. They're wonderful - have to watch out for the others!! Kentrosaurus & its Safari relative ..... Ankylosaurus (Saichania ) & its Bullyland relative ..... ..... also got the Geibunsha Ankylosaurus - wonderful, wonderful - also have to watch out for the others of this series ..... ..... and 2 Bullies I thought I'd better buy as long as they're still available. Procynosuchus & Archaeopteryx
