What did you use as the background? That's some drawing by the great Jean Giraud, also (and maybe better) known as MOEBIUS when drawing on more futuristic themes. I'm collecting comic art (not originals ) and he's among my top 10 pencillers .

Finally got me a Linde Dimetrodon and ask myself why I hesitated so long - it's a tiny little retro beauty . Yeah, it's really a nice figure! Did you win it on Spanish ebay? If so, you just overbid me in the last few seconds.... but the seller offered me another one, so from today (it arrived today) I'm also the lucky owner of this beautiful little dimetrodon

That 'snertus' often has some doubles. I've made the same experience with the Primeval Hesperornis.

Congrats on that Dimetrodon, postsaurischian! It´s really beautiful and goes well with the Invicta one, who is a beauty, too!

That's so true, so thanks for overbidding me! ;D The pictures together with the Invicta Dimetrodon are great! I'm still looking for that one, they make a nice couple

Hey, it's birthday time! I didn't get any Dinosaur (except for a selfmade, knitted Sauropod ), but I got these 2 Paleocraft Mammals, sculpted by Sean Cooper . 1:20 Platybelodon ..... 1:20 Andrewsarchus .....

Andrewsarchus is so weird looking (the animal in general--the model is gorgeous)

Did you have to choose between the two available trunks for the Platybelodon or did you get both?

Happy birthday, Helge! Oh, and congrats for your new Paleocraft models, they're great, especially the Platybelodon!

Thank you all I also especially like the Platybelodon! Did you have to choose between the two available trunks for the Platybelodon or did you get both? Both trunks were included . The good thing is that you don't have to use glue to attach a trunk. You slot it into a little hole, so it can be changed anytime you want. Painting the models would surely be great, but I'm still not very talented and to my taste the Platybelodon doesn't need any colour. The sculpt stands for itself. May we see your knitted sauropod, please? ;D You asked for it ;D ;D! (in the background you can see my very first Dinosaur book that I got in 1973)

That's a fantastic knitted sauropod, Helge! You'll have to teach us how to make one, please. ;D And I'm curious: what is he standing on?

I'm keeping the Dinosaur tags & pamphlets in this one. ;D I can't teach you how to knit. It's one of the things I only did once in my life, in primary school. People who can draw like you shouldn't waste their time with knitting anyway !
