The Dinosaurs by AAA are a bit cartoonish but lovely models ..... Dilophosaurus ..... Gallimimus ..... This pic was shown in another thread. I'm thinking about someone who could paint the Tamiya Brachiosaurus Papo style .....

Love the diversity of collections - such as your one. On one hand there is that Krentz stuff, on the other there is AAA. Does your Gallimimus stand alone or do you have to lean it to something?

You have an amazing collection! thanks! Love the diversity of collections - such as your one. On one hand there is that Krentz stuff, on the other there is AAA. Does your Gallimimus stand alone or do you have to lean it to something? To me diversity is all-important in all respects - especially in music. The Gallimimus can stand alone, but only on an accurate horizontal surface.

I can't stand it when they can't stand. My AAA Gallimimus has warped feet and falls over all the time.

And specially beautiful is your MONONOKE statue. Ah, another Miyazaki admirer. I'm in love with the Miyazaki girls - if only I could find similar figures of the others, such as NausicaƤ or Chihiro. Yes, absolutely. I would love to have some Miyazaki statues too, but unfortunately all these japanese models are always way too expensive for my wallet... I have a little plush of the cat-bus from Totoro, thoug I also admire Moebius, hugely. I have read a lot of his work -but I onw only a couple of his albums-. I'm sure you know he released a number of books featuring the way he works, dedicated to himself ;D Again, the prices are huge -about 20 bucks for each book...

As a comic book collector I have a lot of Moebius stuff . Did you know that he and Miyazaki did an exhibition together in Paris? They're inspiring each other and Miyazaki says that he was shocked when he first saw Moebius in the 80s because that was what he wanted to do and he didn't know that half around the world, down in France there was a guy who's already been doing this kind of romantic science fiction illustrations since the 70s ;D. There's a catalogue of this exhibition that I still have to find. Meanwhile the Dinotales collection is growing ..... (most of these are from that nice guy called Dr. Brontodocus thanks again)Brachiosaurus ..... the cephalopods (Nipponites special from the Tokyo Museum, Douvilleiceras, Rayonnoceras & Pachydiscus) ..... Brontotherium, Meiolania ..... Megalania ..... Velociraptor pair from the JPIII Coca Cola series .....

More mouth-watering figures. I like Moebius too (surprised? ;D). But I only recently disovered his work, so there's still much of it to become acquainted with.

the cephalopods (Nipponites special from the Tokyo Museum, Douvilleiceras, Rayonnoceras & Pachydiscus) ..... Here they are! You know that now you are doomed to get the Polyptychoceras as well (and it comes in two colours just like the Pachydiscus)? But I still think the Nipponites is the best of them all.
