Hey there, This thread is about the museum quality resin one-piece miniatures that are produced by Kaiyodo for special paleontological events like the annual (?) Dino Expo. These hard to find Japanese figures are extremely well done and beautiful in most cases. I only know about the Dino Expos 2004, 2006, 2008 & 2009 and some museum models. I'm sure there are some more figures around which I don't know. If someone owns one of these jewels, send a pic! I start with the Dino Expo 2004 Microraptor - so sweeet Attachments:

Wow - this is going to be an awesome thread! I've been desperately trying to get that Guanlong, but haven't been succesful yet . My Sideshow T-rex wants it at it's side since it also seems to be in 1:20. Anyway ..... here's a T-rex named SUE. I don't know when it was produced and for which museum. Maybe for the Field Museum Attachments:

These are nice little pieces. Wish I had one. Are there any ceratopsians or pachysaurs?

You need the Fukuiraptor to go with the Fukuisaurus; but for whatever reason, it seems harder to find.
And it's hard to imagine how much of my collection I'd give up for the complete 2004 Kaiyodo set.

These are nice little pieces. Wish I had one. Are there any ceratopsians or pachysaurs? There is a Study Room, National Science Museum of Tokyo - Triceratops skeleton, don't know about the Pachy . By the way - has anybody seen the Dino Expo 2006 Supersaurus? I only found this little, creepy pic. I'd love to see real pics of it, I would even rather love to own one!!!!
