Just got the Safari Suchi and the old Happy!Rex, and it got me wondering about color. Green is of course the pop cultural default color for reptiles in general and dinosaurs specifically, and I'm sure it can be done well... but is it, nowadays? So I hereby extend the challenge: Show me how wrong I am! Good green or green-based paintjobs, OF or custom - bring 'em out!

Excuse the huge picture, but....this guy of course! I would also like to nominate the JP 'Thrasher' rex and JP-style Papo rex (shown below with friends and family). However the old Carnegie rex is an example of a more...unsavoury green colour scheme.

Is that Spino actually green, though? I haven't seen one IRL, but based on the photo I'd have thought he was more of a raw umber... I do like those Rexes!

Whoa.... I knew there were a lot, but yikes. Is there some worldwide Stego colorists' conspiracy, or what? (My Collecta Lexovisaurus looks like an unripe lemon, pretty unappealing really.)

Mnay dinosaurs look good or great in green... The ones i usually don't imagine green-colored are mainly the Dromeosaurids and the Ceratosaurids; don't know why, though

Aah, good ol' Cyclops Raptor... Neat figure but the paintjob doesn't really meet my taste

Don't forget the Toyway WWD Iguanodon, or the Dino Riders Diplodocus.

The Papo Parasaurolophus is a nice green model.

I think the Papo Parasaurolophus has a bit of a mediocre paint job for a Papo, although *adopts puffed-up stance* in my review I quite praised the fact that they didn't feel the need to highlight the head crest in a slightly embarrassing primary colour.
By 'for a Papo' I mean that it still beats the living daylights out of God knows how many other boring hadrosaur colour schemes...
