In spite of it being an anachronsitic match-up, they do look nice together. One could consider it a comparison of two different pliosaurs.

Wow, very nice! More pictures, please! Thanks! Galileo and Martin have done excellent work, as always; all I did was assemble the pieces, which is fun for me. Problems with loading on Photobucket, but will post more pix in the next day or two.

Wonderful! I may have said it several times before but somehow I tend to be even more impressed by the diorama bases with all the vegetation (of course the paint work on the dinosaurs is awesome as always). These masses of algae in the water are phantastic!

These masses of algae in the water are phantastic! I agree! Not because the paintwork on the models is of any less significance, but because the creation of a convincing environment is a tricky feat and has an enormous impact on the piece as a whole.

The dinosaurs look great, but those wonderful and realistic landscapes really bring it over the top. I would love to see more step by step articles on how you create your landscapes. Hint hint.. ;D

This has been a great year for me, dino-wise, so many thanks to Galileo, Martin, John, Jon, David, Angie, Shane, Cliff, Hirokazu, Max and Malcolm for their brilliant talents! ;D My new favorite, the juvy rexes and edmonto diorama, is the gift that keeps giving. While the rexes are pinned in place (I could move them, but I'd have to make new holes in the base), the edmonto is free-standing, so it can be moved around or switched out: Yep, we're havin' fun now!

Ooh, and Niroot, of course, for the lovely drawing of the Kinnarree he was kind enough to gift me with, on my birthday, no less. It used to be my avatar up till a few weeks ago, still, a highly treasured posession, thanks again, Himma! (I'll probably have it framed in the new year sometime). ;D
