Funny coincidence, I just bought the Schleich Wolverine on saturday. Somehow the other Schleich 2011 releases are not overly appealing to me... I've seen the auction before and was too hesitant. I must confess, I still am. What do you think about the overall quality of the figure? jubei88's photos are often quite poor so the figure might be a lot better than it looks on the picture. The figure is actually quite excellent--very well done. Definitely the best cutlassfish figure I have seen (he says tongue-in-cheek since it's the only one). But I am quite impressed by it. Unfortunately, it did go up by a couple of dollars since I bought it.

..... what's the third Platypus next to the Papo and WS? That's a (probably) no name figure I bought on one of my Australia trips at a souvenir shop in Brisbane .

What, no Wild Safari one?
Not the new one this year, there is a WS Wildlife one from about 2001. It was probably one of the first well-done figures from Safari period.

The Capybara are gorgeous! what are they made out of - is it some kind of resin or is it just plastic?

So beautiful. Harriet, I imagine from the last picture that they are plastic, though I see what you mean about their looking rather resin-like from the first picture. They remind me a little of Northlight/Wade's animals, which I feel sure you must know of (and probably have a few ;D).

Very nice capybaras. I like the style of these Phat dokidoki figures. I think I've read that they are from PVC. And nice to see the (replacement) Polar Bear. As postsaurischian told me this specimen is of a softer material than usual. But I see no differences to mine from the photos especially because these softer figures are often a little too glossy but this one here doesn't seem glossy at all.

Yes I loved North Light and I do have one original sculpture from them I wish I had had enough money to buy a few more before they stopped making them in England.
