haha! Freudian slip. Hey, perhaps it's an avenue Safari could consider!? ;D And hey, Papo already copied them--there would be competition fr the get go! On another note--I can't write salt water properly, until recently we couldn't write Hitchcock, but dildo gets through? What strange filtering. indeed!

Well, I went to Walking with Dinosaurs Live--great show. I saw the toys. My son begged for them.
We left, and went and got a Papo Triceratops instead. I think, nay, I know I made the right choice. There was a Schleich trike (more fun if you say it aloud) at the store as well--it really didn't compare, but it was more expensive. And they were both the last ones of both companies in the store (it was a book store).
Also got a Safari Ltd. Marine Iguana--that's a pretty cool beast.

How could you deny your poor son the dinosaur toy of his dreams!? In years to come those WWD live show toys will become great collectors items! And to think, I though you were a serious collector! ;D just kidding They really are repulsive dinos.

Are there any photos of these repulsive dinosaurs? sbell posted a link around here, let me see if I can find it. Believe me, they're terrible EDIT: Got it: www.wwdshop.com/product_view.php?pr=61See for yourself. Remember those new Toyway toys that replaced Invicta? These are no different.

I see what you mean. Hows the soundtrack?

I see what you mean. Hows the soundtrack? The music is okay--the same basic bombastic type of score used for the rest of the televised series. Nothing I would personally like to hear if there weren't dinos in front of me at the time.

*checks those dreadful pics again* Why would someone pay $20 for that horrible T-Rex when you have Papo?

The Battat and the Papo version are near flawless IMO.

MM...Battat....
I'd love to have that one.
The Papo's got so many flaws...But I'm not gonna bother. I'm getting mine either way. But it looks like he's in the bathroom, or laying eggs. And his tail...So curved...IT's like...I never thought he could be so flexible.

The pose has always been a problem with Papo. Anyway, I like it since it's so detailed. As for accuracy, I just don't think there's a single perfect replica, not even the best ones out there

*checks those dreadful pics again* Why would someone pay $20 for that horrible T-Rex when you have Papo? They look worse in person, and yet they were flying off the shelf. No wonder they have no interest in producing something of quality; people apparently don't care (although I should have tried to get a kid to give me the box from one!).

No marine reptiles--one Ornithocheirus though, they hung it in front of a screen to give it a sense of flying. The T-shirts were the ones from the website--in fact, anything you could buy from the show is also on their website. After full price for tickets, postage might be cheaper!

The 3D poster looks cool though What 3D poster? *is intrigued* There is a lenticular hologram poster of a dinosaur group shot below an eye--unless there is another one. www.wwdshop.com/product_view.php?pr=81I still wouldn't pay $25 for it--it isn't that big.
