Thank you Tomhet and Boki, this thread is unnecessary for most users.

Well, if someone has a bad experience, he should feel free to share it with us.
I've had two bad experiences. One of them involved a seller known as udf_animal, I bought from him but in the meantime he was retired from Ebay. He never sent my stuff.
The other had to do with a big time Battat collector, can't remember his Ebay screen name, it's ssdlh or something like that. I paid a lot of money for a lot of his but he didn't bother to tell me that one of them, the Utahraptor, had a broken claw. When I tried to contact him again, he didn't even answer my e-mail. I felt scammed.

Funny, I had a great experience with udf_animal, but now his store is closed.

Of course not. That was the reason why it was a bad experience, neither of them contacted me again And I'd had a good experience with UDF, but he decided to steal when he had the chance.

I have dealt with Jurassachick. I bought three JP29 Thrashers. They were sent reasonably promptly and two were acceptable but the third was poorly described and essentially eviscerated. I contacted JChick and she made it right. I have no complaints about this seller

This thread would be a lot more helpful if it didn't focus so much on just one transaction. So...

dinoboy, I erased the other thread, I think this one will suffice. Otherwise things will get too chaotic

Thanks. I wondered what happened to it when I returned this morning.

BTW: I notice that the number of posts attributed to contributors here does not seem to change with additional postings. I appear to have 105 over a series of postings, you Tomhet have 736, and these numbers haven't changed for this entire page. What gives with that?

The number of posts next to your avatar increase after every post. The figure represents the total number of posts to date, not the specific number of that particular post.

Ah ha. I do not know why I was confused as I was. I think it was because my mind was elsewhere while my fingers were here on the keyboard typing away.... thank you for your kind and rapid response DTF.
I, for one, find a thread that gives us all warnings about bad sellers/bad experiences in selling/buying quite valuable. There are a lot of scammers/unreliable sellers and buyers out there and sharing experiences and information is helpful for us all. More so perhaps today as many of us are being driven from erBay due to it's excessive fees and strangling rules.
However when they are hijacked and become soap-operas of the he says-she says variety then it is only their Jerry Springer/Judge Judy entertainment value that remains. Falling right in there with the "gawk at the accident on the highway" set. And the thread loses any informational value. I don't really want to know about anyone's debilitating family problems.
I would really like to see a thread that just provides such safety information and not one that is simply a non-performance excuse-fest.
