I wonder if we could get around the problem of a narrow review section by having the images open to larger versions when clicked? I know this is rather troublesome with Wordpress when one has to have both versions uploaded... Also, am I alone in missing those star ratings? ;D Yes, that is possible. I already tried it with this entry: www.dinotoyblog.com/2012/02/20/dilophosaurus-battat/Although for some reason the first image is huge. What do we think? The images are automatically resized in the blog so only one image needs to be uploaded, we'd just have to make sure it is a reasonable max size. I've tried and failed to make the blog wider/sidebars narrower. It's more complicated than you might think! But, I'm actually getting used to the narrower layout... I haven't removed the star rating system, I'm not sure why it isn't showing up. I'll double check the plugin is functioning properly...

Sigh, the plugin is installed and I've no idea why the ratings are not showing up. The polls page is also malfunctioning, it is part of the same plugin. www.dinotoyblog.com/dinosaur-toy-polls-page/Item 151 on today's glitch list. I hate this hacker crap. ;D

Hmm, maybe I could help with making the column widths different. What seems to be the issue? .sidebar-content-sidebar #content is making each sidebar a width of 24.8%, and the main column is set to 50.5%. These widths are repeated a few times in the CSS so if you would have to change it everywhere to get the right effect.

Ah, I seem to have neglected to try clicking on the Dilophosaurus review pictures, so hadn't noticed before now! I only tried the Quetz one.

A couple suggestions/comments: -As a personal preference, I like the menu being bellow the header pic, rather than above it. -'Popular Posts' should probably be under 'Recent Comments' since they are somewhat related. -'Right now on eBay' should probably be next to 'New Dinosaurs for Sale', or perhaps eliminate the latter. -Perhaps move 'Top Rated' above 'Recent Comments'? I would be more interested in the top rated stats than most of the other stuff in the sidebar. -Move the subscribe widget up to a top position. I think that is one of the most important widgets, and I almost didn't see it! -It feels a little cluttered overall. Perhaps some widgets could be removed? I can't speak for anyone else, but I'll probably never use 'Filter by Author', 'Top Commentators', 'Tags', or 'Category Cloud'. The Category Cloud is a bit redundant with the category dropdown in the same sidebar. If these things were removed or the info stored elsewhere, the remaining widgets could be moved to the other side, and one column eliminated so the actual blog section has more room -Add a divider of some sort between each blog post. As is, they all sort of blend together. Also add side dividers to help visually separate the blog column from the other columns. A simple line would do. It might also help the dead white space (present on either side of the blog column further down the page) to look less out of place.

As for me, I am very happy with the new look of our highly appreciated DTB! It´s more vivid than the old one, fresher.

Thanks also for pointing out the part of the CSS I need to adjust. I'll take another look...

Yours was a dream to look at by comparison ;D Thanks to your heads up I've sorted the width issue! I realised I had missed one of the pieces of code! Sometimes one can't see the wood for the trees. The central column is now a much more respectable width, and the images are too. I'm so happy. I also appreciate your comments on the side bar elements. I'll make some changes shortly. Now to sort this issue with the star ratings. The polldaddy code appears in the html but isn't translated onto the page. Any thought on this one Seijun?

Takama, I had to refresh the blog page to get the stars to show. So when you are on the blog, click your browser's refresh button and see if they pop up.

There is now an Authors drop down menu at the top of the page. As we have so many blog authors now, I've split up the About the Authors section into individual author pages. e.g: www.dinotoyblog.com/about-the-authors/libraraptor/I've also updated the 'guest authors section', is there anyone I've missed out?

I've also updated the 'guest authors section', is there anyone I've missed out? Well, I wrote one review (The X-Plus Styracosaurus), and I am planning a second - dunno as that really merits a mention there, though
