A Papo Sauropod would be like HUGE!!! I'd love to see a JP Brachiosaurus or JP Mamenchisaurus!

Whereas I would prefer them to move away from JP. ;D

Whereas I would prefer them to move away from JP. ;D Yeah, much as JP creatures are cool, Papo + accuracy would be a spectacular (and most importantly, affordable) combination. Their sculpts are already the most visually impressive - if they were scientifically sound (or at least, moreso) as well they could wipe the floor with everyone else.

But if Papo completely abandons JP, we got no quality JP stuff anymore... The only thing we can spect is some crappy repaints of the Hasbro line (mixed with Gijoes or who knows what aberration) or ultra-crappy comics...
I'd love PAPO to continue sculpting Stan Winston's creatures... it would be great if they could finish the whole set of JP designs (Gallimimus, Corythosaurus, Ceratosaurus, JP3 Brachiosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Compsognathus...) to have all them on that level of quality and price... And done that, why not continue doing some more Stan Winston's critters like Kothoga, Alien Queen, the She-Creature, the Congo Grey Gorillas, Pumpkinhead, Leviathan... Wouldn't that be awesome? I don't think Papo should leave movie-based figures, that is what actually made them great.
Besides that movie-based line, they could also go into scientifically accurate dinosaurs. Why not? Is it really an imperative to abandon JP dinosaurs to make accurate dinosaurs only?

Is it really an imperative to abandon JP dinosaurs to make accurate dinosaurs only? TOTALLY agree! A Kothoga figure by Papo would kick some serious butt, that's for sure The only one JP critter i wouldn't like to see turned in a Papo model, though, is the JP3 Ceratosaurus... I mean, he's probably the less inspired rendition of a dinosaur in all the JP saga and a weak restoration of Ceratosaurus himself; it seems like Stan Winston and Crash McCreery didn' t have much time to work on him; maybe it has to do with the fact that JP3 was basically rushed

Winston didn't even made the Ceratosaurus (and never saw a Crash art of it, I think it was probably designed by some other artist). It was made by ILM modifying the digital T-Rex model into a Cerato. And in origin was going to be a Carnotaurus... a RED Carnotaurus. But since Disney had two in the previous year, they had to change it into a Cerato. But I don't think it was so bad, and no official jp3 Cerato exist on figure form (if we don't count the jp1 diecast, wich by the way I suspect wasn't originally a Ceratosaurus at all but a Yangchuanosaurus based on this Greg Paul drawing: g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/ciu/de/1c/bfb44310fca09a59a3b4a010.L._SL500_AA300_.jpg )

Infact it looked strange to me that two true artists such as Stan Winston and McCreery would make such an average rendition of a dinosaur.

I wouldn't mind if Papo dropped JP entirely. Seems like a waste of their talent. Just thinking about the detail they'd bring to accurate dinosaurs... Hey I realize we all have our opinions but I wish they'd shy away from movie monsters and start basing their figs on how scientists say dinosaurs actually looked. Although I'd like them to take another shot at the rex to replace Mr. Broken Tail.

Although I'd like them to take another shot at the rex to replace Mr. Broken Tail. A 'modern Tyrannosaurus' alongside a new 'JP Tyrannosaurus' would be awesome. But now I really am being unreasonable! Still, one can dream...

Papo realistic wishing line-up: JP Corythosaurus JP Sauropod (take ya pick) JP Gallimimus New JP T-rex Maybe a JP diorama set...nah, leave them to SIdeshow
Papo fantasy line-up (includes total line-up including present figures, new ones with a star): Allosaurus *Accurate non-JP of everything JP they did (although I wouldn't complain if they kept their Pachy & just repainted him/her) *New Plesiosaurus & a FEATHERY (aka accurate) Oviraptor *Diabloceratops or Rubeosaurus *Amargasaurus (they could make that accurate AND kickass) *Dimetrodon (read comments on Amargasaurus, esp. if they based him/her of Todd Marshall's painting)
