Awesome. The "MOULAN REX"!!!! ;D I know I am supposed to be one of those... (maybe the lady in the midle? ;D ) Haha, no, of course not. Unless you wanted to be. ;D What is this obsession the British have, for putting cloths on Dinosaurs? Is it their sense of humor? Another puzzling question from Mr Stoneage, I see (I mean the question itself is a puzzling one to put). ;D I don't think it's peculiar to the British or even any other particular nationality at all. Anthropomorphised animals, elements, objects, phenomena, etc have existed in storytelling for millennia - even as far back as prehistoric man. ;D The most famous examples can be found in children's literature and, most culturally significantly in terms of worldwide recognition, in the fables of Aesop. Anthropomorphism doesn't have to mean things are wearing clothes, of course, but that is easily one aspect of it. None of the dinosaurs in this thread have actually worn clothes so far (and probably won't at all until I draw Marc, who has demanded them ;D). The dancing tyrannosaurs are only wearing them (and only partially at that) because their humour and absurdity are only more magnified than if they had simply been dancing alone. ;D

"The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" Jes kidding! ;D Fox actually got it spot-on when he mentioned 'Moulin Rex'. Part of the inspiration was Toulouse-Lautrec and bohemian turn-of-the-century Montmartre. ;D Though of course, that needn't prevent anyone from exercising their imagination further. ;D

But you cannot do without one! That wouldn't be at all appropriate! And I had so looked forward to giving you a cravat. ;D Besides it being one of the few items of clothing that work, as you see...

Cravats are clearly too foppish and insufficiently grim I'm afraid. It's a black* neck tie or nowt, I think... *Or white. That'll do. Or striped. Or something quite plain. Yeah.

Ahhh, if that was your concern, you needn't have worried. I plan for it to suit your character, naturally. ;D I was thinking of something not unlike these Ingres portraits: lh4.ggpht.com/_SUBGzd1BG60/SXKHEnqzx6I/AAAAAAABySI/ivSlUlGf6SA/Ingres,+Jacques+Marquet+1813.jpg www.bestpriceart.com/shop-online/images/vault/ingres13.jpgwww.bestpriceart.com/shop-online/images/vault/ingres7.jpgwww.wholesalechinaoilpainting.com/upload1/file-admin/images/new3/Jean-Auguste%20Dominique%20Ingres-339553.jpgOnly plainer yet, much like the last example especially (the cravat, not the sitter ). They're more Romantic era than high Victorian, but I thought it gave some sense of the dashing and brooding at once. Anyway, I'll think more on it. It will be a long while yet before I get there...

Well, I would like to change my answer, if that's OK. I am short-ish, not lean, quite smart (sorry for the brag), constantly getting attacked, can hold my own in a fight but I'd prefer not to have to, have no hair styling, so...probably a Neimongosaurus, Beipiaosaurus, Camptosaurus or Bactrosaurus. Or a Dolichorhynchops or Megaraptor. Probably go Bactrosaurus or Megaraptor, because I just LOVE Bactrosaurus, well, any Asian dinosaurs really, and Megaraptor because they're my name and I don't think they would ave been that confrontational. And...WHERE'S MY PORTRAIT!!!!!!!!!! Jokes, jokes . You only just found out about my final answer then.

That's quite a number of choices... ;D Are you able to decide between Bactrosaurus and Megaraptor? If you leave the decision to me, I might want to choose the former simply because it's a herbivore. Carnivores are far too over-rated... ;D But that shouldn't stop you choosing Megaraptor; you know yourself better than I do, so make your decision. ;D Sorry the portraits had to come to such an abrupt pause. I'm going to be busy up until May, so unless I can squeeze some small drawing in between whiles, it may have to be a long wait, I fear...

I was born in the year of the Baryonyx 1983. Witch is funny because I prefer fish to red meat every time! I like my greens too so probably Camarasaurus is my sauropod.
