Thanks Himma, That was a more subtle approach than these next two. I am experimenting with HDR photo manipulation. Basically you take three photographs, one properly exposed and a photo under and overexposed, than mesh the three together and play with contrast and tone mapping. Still working out the kinks.

Ah, yes, so I see! So that's how they're done. I've often seen pictures with similar effects but never knew how they were achieved. That double bass is going into your saurian portrait one day. ;D I like that cabinet your mountain is standing on too.

Now we can see al the dust on your Invictas! Very good photography though. I've seen similar photos, but the effect is not as well done as in yours!

That's an old wine cabinet my parents gave me while cleaning house. Although I have never had more than a bottle in it at any time I do appreciate the beauty of nice woodwork. And it has a cool skeleton key.

Wow, the effect suits these pictures in particular too. Probably because the subjects really lend themselves to being stylised.

I have so much more to learn to really grasp this process and how it works. I'll withhold bombarding the forum with every single one of my trial pics. Sometimes I get excited. ;D

Isn't that dust on that old organ? Do you know how old the organ is? Yea, that's dust. It doesn't get much use. No idea how old it is, I'll look into it. Has a really cool sound, albeit limited.

Pangolinmoth - SWEET collection. After perusing those pictures I am gonna have to spring for the Schleich Brachiosaurus. What photoshop software do you use? Some freeware. Cause Photoshop proper is to expensive. HDR software is called luminosity. Can't remember what the photo software is, I'll look at it after work. And thank you for the compliment, I also enjoy the schleich brachiosaurus. Pretty cool, for a schleich.
