ichthyostega: Yes, it's the WwD Toro. And thanks for being a regular commentor! I'm glad that you like them but could I just ask exactly what you like about them? Part Two of the Arsinoitherium: Defending His Patch Slow-Mover So, that's the Arsino. Which one is your fvourite? Enjoy. Very nice, your dioramas keep on improving with each new ones I like the slow mover the best for its simple, yet very effective composition Reminds me a lot of Indian Rhino. I also like how you inject humor to your dioramas, it give it a fun element that is often missing in many dioramas CAn I give you a bit of suggestions? I really love the plateo, however, the ferns are way out of scale. I know how tricky it is to photograph small figures in an environment full of life sized plants ;D It would be interesting to do the same shot, except this time try moving the ferns away from the picture frame ;D Also, for the illusion of bigger scale, try placing the figure really close to the camera, I know you will have to be a contortionist sometimes, and take the picture at a lover level. Thats just my suggestions of course Keep it up, your dioramas is a good reminder for me to do more

Suggestion - take the "slow-mover" photo and make it hazier/granier - it would make it look more like the 'real deal'. The photo is phenomenal - if you can make it a bit 'rougher' it would really be awesome! Great job!

Thanks everyone! Himmapaan: I'm glad you are still interested in them and that you are envious but I don't really have much skill; I just arrange the dio and take loads of photographs. I didn't mean to sound 'spoilt' or anything but I feared they may have become suddenly dreadful! Thanks Boki, but I don't really 'inject' humour purpously; or are you refering to my use of modern raptors? (Coincidently has anyone noticed that the brown hen in each of the photos is the same hen?!) I meant the Plateo to be a Podlet, but I will try you techniques and see if the turn out better! simon: Do you mean use photoshop around the Arsino (I don't have Photoshop), or do you mean to add an effect to the whole picture?

You didn't sound 'spoilt' at all (nor was my last comment meant to be a reproach!) ! And they're certainly far from becoming dreadful. I also take tonnes of pictures just to select the best; but it's still hit-and-miss with me most of the time. ;D I have much to learn.

Just saw that "Giant raptor" one - very cool! You seem to continue my "strange encounters" approach ;DAnd that swimming Arsinoitherium is just brilliant.

Libraraptor: Thanks! mYes, I did base them on your encounters (which were awesome!). Some I took yesterday with dinos that haven't appeared yet....: Drinking Stegosaurus: Little does he know there is a hungry Allosaur waiting atop the cliff. However the Stego decides to wade across to the other bank. The Allo watches as he slowly swims across. But she is reluctant to follow:

Excellent. I'm reminded of HKHollinstone's similar (and just as gorgeously photographed) series of an Allosaurus and a Stegosaurus (both Papo). You might be interested in seeing it. The Allosaurus was also unsuccessful in that, but for different reasons. ;D

Yes, I think I've seen it. But of course, that was a heroic Stego. Mine simply swam away and the Allo wimped out. However, I took the pictures yesterday but arranged them into a story today, not plan them beforehand.

Love that last one; the grass doesn't even look like grass, it looks more like bamboo! Great job with foliage on those last ones!

Glad you like it!! There is some grass in the last one, but I don't think the main stems are grass, it's more of a reed-like bush-thing who's name escapes me. But the second last one has grass in! (I probably popped your bubble there, Cordy! )

Yeah, I noticed, but I also saw that you can make cool ones without grass in them so I didn't say anything

Ok, it's nearly been a month and I am sorry to those who were anticipating an update but life called with exams and birthdays and what not. But today - yes today - there is a diorama update!! So thanks to all who commented and here are some more: Crossing a river Sudden Scare! Any similarities?

Or am I over-thinking this (you should get the Bully Eusmilus; not quite right either, but the nimravids would have been there.

Thanks Icarimo, Libra, sbell and Stonage! None were washed away, may I add! sbell: I would've paid more attention to periods but I don't mhave many figures and I wanted to make a chase scene. Unfortunatly for you I have many Anchitherium and Smilodon dios waiting in line!!

Ah, new dioramas... with mammals! ;D Know what, I, too, made the same exact mistake you did by combining those figures together in one of my earlier dios: ;D ;D ;D Anyway, glad no one got swept away ;D
