I like the 1:72 size; should make an awesome companion for the Kaiyodo Dinotales model, as well as fitting in with the Antediluvia series, which is also awesome.

Luve how the new therizinosaurus looks Would luve to own a 1/40 scale one. But a 1/72 would be good too. Just wondering about its integument. Would therizinosaurus have been covered in feathers? Sure the therizinosaurs in general would have been covered in down-like feathers but would an animal the size of a elephant that lived in a very warm climate be covered in that kind of integument? When I draw therizinosaurus, I only give the males feathers on the top of their heads and those are for display purposes only. Would be cool either way. David, your work is amazing =D Just be sure to make a tarbosaurus to go along with it It'd be lovely to recreate that scene from Walking with Dinosaurs, The Giant Claw where the two duke it out.

It's amazing how often that scene is brought up but we've never scene a 3D re-creation of it..talk about an awesome Dio or just statue.

It was Walking with Dinosaurs. Got my uncle to tape the original airings of the episode in the UK back then. They were WWD specials like "The Ballad of Big Al." Chased by Dinosaurs was what was used to market the Nigel Marven hosted WWD specials in the US. Even in the Region 1 Chased by Dinosaurs DVD, if you look at the title card of the episodes, there's "A Walking with Dinosaurs Special" written at the bottom of the title. Even Sea Monsters was titled "Sea Monsters: A Walking with Dinosaurs Trilogy"

Even Sea Monsters was titled "Sea Monsters: A Walking with Dinosaurs Trilogy" Perhaps, but calling it a WwD implies that it was part of the original 6 episodes, whereas Chased by Dinosaurs (or, if you prefer, the Nigel Marven-starring specials) makes clear that it was not one of the original WwD episodes, which can help prevent confusion. Because eventually someone is going to ask otherwise.

I for one vote for a full coat of feathers. Maybe ratite-style vane-less feathers? Sure, it's quite speculative, but, to me, therizinosaurs as a group just look kinda ugly without some fluff on them. Also, the Meganteron looks amazing, I love the running pose!
