Oh yes...I didn´t post the updated version from DA. I already edited it. At first it was meant to be a Tenontosaurus smashing a Deinonychus following the latest line of dromies being stomped, hence the 5th finger that I forgot to clean up. I think this idea was better, I´m a bit sick of gigantic hadrosaurs desperately fleeing from way smaller theropods, even if those are tyrannosaurs. Nonsense! And now another asian dino: Therizinosaurus.Btw I expected a strongest reaction to that turkey like Gigantoraptor. What, no booing? ;D

Well..if I knew exactly I could have told you..lol I think maybe it's lack of definition under the feathers...the right hand also looks like it's facing up...it's prob not how you drew it..but it just appears that way to me.

Yep both hands are slightly facing up. When theropod arms extend forward palm of the hand tend to go up and inward. Maybe i didnt got the angle completely right or made them too long. . You must admit this is quite a weird animal to draw and some mistakes are expectable . By the way here is the test coloured version:

Lets play! In the snowy canadian plains of the Cretaceous winter, a juvenile Gorgosaurus wants to play with a Troodon. Unfortunately his feathered friend doesn´t seem to be in the mood. Next to them, a herd of Parasaurolophus observe the scene with amusement. A Dsungaripterus flying over a herd of Shunosaurus:

Well, not very excited about the last ones, eh? Here´s another one and I´ll take a break some days... Euoplocephalus tutus, slightly based on Greg Paul´s (hope he won´t sue me. lol!) "Come closer if you dare!"

Thanks...! I think I even prefer negative feedback than nothing! ;D I was expecting someone to say the paras neck is too long (which is true ). And I´m aware the last shadings arent specially great...I wish they came out as well as shantungos but I must have touched or changed something since I did that one...I definitely need digital painting lessons (or try to do the shades with ink!). The Dsungaripterus was an old sketch I was too lazy to update, its not really that recent...I need a really good background for this one. Maybe I´ll ask a friend to add it. Btw there´s some advance on the Euoplocephalus and the little Gorgosaurus: OK, question for the experts: how did exactly pterosaurs land on the ground? I´m finishing another scene where a Pteranodon is landing near a big corpse; he is folding the wings back and standing on the legs, prepared to fall on the "hands" . But I´m not sold on it, looks quite unnatural... and I have proved a dozen of different poses. Is there any schematic diagram or something about how is believed they did that?

These are all brilliant. One thing I would say is to move the sauropods' nostrils further down their snout. The old idea that their nostrils were directly over the bony openings has fallen out of favour. (See Luis Rey's sauropods, although the fleshy chambers were probably flush to the head, rather than sticking out.)
Otherwise, superb stuff. As for the landing pterosaur, you're probably right with your initial idea.

Ironically I did that in the Dicraeosaurus, the "fleshy chamber"..Since i wasn´t sure about what I was drawing , lol- I went for the traditional way with the Shunosaurs head. I thought the snout nostrils (and the inflated chamber) were merely a Luis Rey eccentricity or just a diplodocid trait . Well, time to move on then. And glad you liked it! About the pterosaurs, I´ll post it very soon. I has lot of them. The landing ptera looks hopelessly awkward, but its not my fault if they were built like that! Speaking of which this is my test scheme with the Dsungaripterus:

Well, I couldn't add anything else which the others haven't mentioned. The latest ones are all so lovely. And I'm still amazed at the speed with which you must roll them out.

Interesting. Apart of the new information I like the part about the "cheek like" jaw muscles. The sauropod reconstructions with the jaw joint at the very end of the skull always has made me cringe. Since they have to spend the whole day eating and moving from tree to tree, such structure would make them drop loads of food from the sides of the jaw before they can swallow it, about half of what they were picking. On the other hand, why didnt you comment this on the other sauropods I´ve done like the Alamosaurus? ;D Well, I couldn't add anything else which the others haven't mentioned. The latest ones are all so lovely. And I'm still amazed at the speed with which you must roll them out. They indeed come out quite quickly! bear in mind I just use a pen over some pencil doodles, and since I´m a computer science and programming nerd I have lot of free time everyday (or while I´m "studying")... aproximately one of this drawings, including scales and folds takes an hour. Ironically the photoshop threatment takes much more time. I wish I could spend more time making them look more professional, sort of like you do, but well, I´ve never attended an art school and I doubt I´ll ever do...

I'm not a PERFECT pedant, you know! ;D
By the way, the Shunosaurus on the far right in the above image looks remarkably similar to the brachiosaur on SV-POW...
