Very nice drawing. I like the posture, because in my opinion it has some kind of majestic touch.

Thanks. Not exactly what I was aiming for, but I´m quite satisfied with this one.

The sky is quite nice. But the raptor's color scheme doesn't quite match it. I imagine something with a lot of dark blues would look better.

Maybe. I think blue feathers are a bit unlikely though. It prefer to stick with earthy or light colours, or Anchiornis ones, to play "safe".

Nice ! I do like the proto-fethers / spines on the arms..I did the same thing with my Juvi Spino sculpt. I think some light terrain would be good also..just too much white on the ground.

Thanks! Those things in the arms and neck are just long iguana like spikes. I feel like Spinosaurids are too primitive to have anything else apart from good ol scales. (Although quills/fuzz could probably be basal to Ornithodirans and specially theropods, but that´s beyond the point) I can´t make decent brackgrounds to save my life , but theres little else to do there, since its supposed to be a plain in a very dry season. Im thinking of focusing more in feathered animals. Doing all this scales is really exhausting the way I want to detail it and doesn´t look nearly as good as I expect. I´ll probably add some funny thing like an unusual human comparison figure in the next piece (allosaurus), maybe that way I can divert the attention a bit from the awful central piece. Lets see...

I think you did a very good job detailing the Spinosaurus, though! (Although I agree that the ground needs a little more work, to give the picture a bit more depth.)

It's so odd seeing a Spinosaur that far away from any water source...lol

Maybe I´ll try something with the ground..meanwhile, I did a second version bearing in mind the apparently short hindlimbs. The extended big hump makes more sense with the short legs, and viceversa, doesnt it? adding weight to the lower body so it can keep better balance.

Man I'm still amazed how short the legs are..I was really cncerned while building mine I had screwed up somewhere..lol and yes it does look better balanced.

Its Nick Cage, he´s always overacting. This is a fact ;D And also, so my post isn't completely useless, I really admire the detail you put into the linework The crests on the Allosaurus specifically I like very much.

Cool color scheme! And I like how you add a dewlap to the large carnivores.
