I love the idea of a Dragons VS Dinosaurs scenario..so many opportunities for great pieces !
I actually have a Dragon section in my collection ..it would be pretty cool to display some Dino VS Dragon piece right between them..a clashing of worlds would be right ! lol

Nice job on the head sculpt ! Lots of obvious anger there..lol I think if it were me I would have preferred just a nice " evil " grin...something a bit more cruel. Like she actually derived pleasure from killing them or at least watching this one suffer in her grip...but that's just me.. I'm a bit twisted that way I guess... ;D

Must have killed her family when she was little...a dragon swooped down and saved her though. Whether to be kind or for it's own agenda though..who knows. ;D BTW, just me rambling..I have no idea what David has planned story-wise..

Must have killed her family when she was little...a dragon swooped down and saved her though. Whether to be kind or for it's own agenda though..who knows. ;D Well.....not exactly, but not bad. What I have in mind has to do with demons resurrected on Earth in the distant future, possessing not only living creatures but also dead ones- even ones that have been extinct for millions of years. The dinosaurs in this story are all supernatural abominations and there are many of them. The demons prefer to possess carnivorous creatures for obvious reasons. There are many demon theropod dinosaurs. On the other hand, many of earth's reptile species have evolved into what are eventually known as 'dragons' because of their appearance- some growing to enormous sizes. They are still wild, but can be tamed and used to fight the dinos. Since technology is all but lost, the dragons are humans' best hope to survive the demon uprising. Without getting too far off on a tangent- dragons are good, dinos are bad. And Dragolina has met her share of bad dinos. She in my mind is a 'hero' type. I wouldn't want to show her taking pleasure in killing, but she does what needs to be done.

Huh..never would have thought to toss demons into the mix... ;D ....and the dragons aren't human-level intelligent I guess ? What happens when she meets that one Dinosaur that isn't evil though ?

A little late chiming in, but I just wanted to say, you're doing a great job on this figure. It takes me back to the glory days of Mcfarlane, back when awesome fantasy/sci-fi figures were pouring out of their factory. I guess we have you to thank, for alot of those amazing 2-d/3-d designs. I can't wait to see her finished, as she already looks great in this unfinished form. Btw, I love your back-story for this character.

Without you, we wouldn't have gotten all the awesome figures that were released years ago. I wish they would have released your Griffin from LOTBH series 2, not to mention a few others. It seems everything started to go down hill, after they canceled their fantasy lines. Good thing is, your still able to pump out awesome kits. Just don't cancel any future awesomeness, to sculpt Halo figures.

Lookig better and better !
I agree...I used to collect a lot of Mcfarlane pieces but I'm pretty much out now. The Walking Dead figures are a bit tempting though for custom projects.
I asked several times in one of those Q&A sections Todd did if he would ever do Dinosaurs..he kept saying he wanted to..but it never seemed to pan out.

I asked him about doing dinos when I first met him. He told me there wouldn't be enough to do more than two or three waves. He didn't seem to care about it. I think he saw the dragons as his versions of dinosaurs. His answer to my question is really what motivated me to sculpt the dilophosaurus on my own- and the rest is history.

Heh, one reply was that his kids loved Dinos and he'd love to do some.. lol ONLY 2-3 waves !? really !? lol You could go on for YEARS ..and still not get em' all. heh heh I liked his original horror lines as well I own a coulple of the werewolves and the sea creatures. Wish he would have gotten around to doing an monster clown ( aside from Violator that is ) ...Pennywise from Stephen King's IT would have been perfect. Any interest in commissions ?

Sorry, I've got a lot planned for next few years and there's never enough time... I just don't see myself having time for private commissions. For now, all of my commission work is for NECA.

Wow..I can understand.. I asked Galileo to make me a 2 foot Klownzilla from Killer Klowns ..but he's afraid of clowns.. lol Not to poke fun of course really..it's pretty common.
Any chance you can ask Neca to make a Pennywise figure ? Worth a shot maybe.

Any chance you can ask Neca to make a Pennywise figure ? Worth a shot maybe. It's been brought up already- I don't think it's likely. Anyway....there's this female warrior who fights demonic dinosaurs...
