Very nice! I am particularly liking the Afrovenator! The ventrum really resembles that of a small amphibian I worked on in graduate school - the Korean fire-bellied toad Bombina orientalis. Have you seen one? They have a green and black mottled dorsum, but the ventrum is very similar to your dinosaur. Anyway, it's just stunning, nice work! Sadly, that toad is nearly extinct in our country. Btw, I've always loved the striking colors by Bokisaurus~!

:DThanks for all the kind words everyone! I'm glad that diplo got positive feedbacks. This guy took 3 coat of paints, one wash, 2 dry-brush, and 3 different layers/colors for the spots! ;D Took forever to finish! The spots alone took a combined 6 hrs to do ;D Yes, that little birdie is the Tamiya kit archeopteryx I painted, diplo needed a friend ;D After my vacation, I plan on repainting the CollectA Tenontosaurus next

Very good Bokisaurus! I can almost imagine you customizing a Papo Allosaurus with a broken jaw and similar colors to the one in Dinosaur Revolution! I have a question though: do you apply primer to the figures prior to painting them?

I have a question though: do you apply primer to the figures prior to painting them? Yes, I use primer first so that the acrylic paint goes better. I use gesso, works fine for me.

Here are two new pics of my sauropod repaint binge ;D I actually did these guys a few months ago, just never got around to posting them. Older WS BrachiO- this guy was the albino looking one, the one they gave the canary paint! ;D So hated that color, got this guy in a lot specifically for repainting. And another one taken on the roof ;D Took forever to finish this guy! The spots were last minute addition, it needed something ;D Next up is one Amphelosaur from CollectA This is one of my favorite sauropod figure. I like the original color, but I did have an extra that suffered some paint loss during its adventure in the desert (remember my diorama pics? ) I wanted something that was bold (I know, right?), and that would contrast with my other repaints. Not the best picture, too much glare on the figure. I will take a better one, including closer look at the head ;D And this guy, remember him? Finally got around painting him,too ;D Okay, that it for now, but stay tune for the next group. I just need to some time to take pics of them. Hope you like them ;D

Beautiful, Boki! The neck of the Brachi reminds me of some of the caterpillars of giant silk moths.

Thanks everyone! I really had a great and fun time painting all of them. The Amarga was a big gamble, but I'm happy by how it turned out.

Beautiful! I especially like the Diplodocus & Brachiosaurus - but the others are also great! Your repaints of small figures are also gorgeous

Outstanding job! I love your brightly coloured sauropods. The colors are imaginative and look natural at the same time. The Brachiosaurus pattern is definitely my favourite, a masterpiece. But all are great. Would you mind If I take some of his schemes as a reference for future drawings?

Nice set of repaints! You know how to paint bright colors and make it work. For example, they needed you to come up with the colors for the dinosaur king figures.
I second the opinion, love the amarga! ;D

Stunning repaints! The Brach's color scheme reminds me of some agama lizards. My favorite has to be the oryx-inspired Amargasaurus! I love its white spines and head pattern!
