Yeah, either Carnegie or Papo would make a helluva good Diablo. But, Chasmosaurus has been a known dino like forever now and it's amazing none of the top toy figure companies currently has a 1:40 scale or so museum quality figure out there. (I say 'museum quality' because CollectA has a standard size figure, but he's ... well.... he's cute. Yeah, I'll give him that. He's cute! LOL!) BTW, of the major dino figure companies, past or present, I can't think of a museum quality type Chasmo that's ever been out there. Not Battat or Invicta. And none of the currant companies either, right? -- Carnegie, Bullyland, Schleich, Papo, WS, none of these ever had one as far as I can think. The Royal Ontario Museum has/had one, but he's not what I'd consider a deluxe museum figure. And I think they're extinct now, right? Galileo has a nice affordable 1/35 Chasmo : www.geenemodels.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=59_61&product_id=70 ..and he'll build and paint it for you. ;D Thanks, Chris! Yeah, I also love Galileo's work, but I am hoping for yet a little more affordable "toy" figure. Heh, heh! Maybe around the Papo ceratopsians' prices, which are somewhere between $12 and $14. ;D

I get ya . You know ...a certain forum member here is pretty handy with customizing those Papo ceratopsians...wonder if they might be persuaded to make you a Chasmosaurus ? ;D

How absolutely amazing would a Papo Amargasaurus be? Such a handsome/elegant dinosaur...a "dragon pony" would be my best attempt at describing an Amargasaurus....

True, the best affordable Chasmo you can still find is the Dinoland series by Kaiyodo Well, now that we have an "idea" of the new Carnegie 2012... So, for me, I would love to see WS line do any of the new ceratopsians, or Ouranosaurus/Lambeo. also, they should really do Augustina. I agree, CollectA is anyones guess, but it would be good bet that they would do one or two of the new ceratopsians ('m surprise they did not do one for this year). As for sauropods, Hmmm they are running out of distinct looking ones, so my guess would be a SpinophorosaurusDicraesaurus, or any of the Chinese long necks like mamenchi orOmesi ;D Oh, and they really need to do an icthyo ;D

Boki, you know I loooove that Chasmo by Kaiyodo! But, affordable? He sells for more than Galileo's! LOL! I want toy figure prices, hehe! And second, he's really too big to go with the general 1:40 scale figures, right?! But, he is still my favorite Chasmo so far! That's alright. I have patience. One of the main toy figure companies will surely come out with one at some point. ;D BTW, love the idea of a Papo Amarga! Although, I'd like a Cerato rather than a Carno from them. The new Carnegie Carno is keeping me very satisfied!

I was thinking the same thing..I'm pretty sure Kaiyodo vinyls are going up. A Cerato would be high on my list of wants from Papo as well...and the Safari / Carnegie Carno is excellent looking..but if they did an Amarga then having a Carno in the same " style " to go with it wouldn't bother me at all..

. The paint scheme is great! The base color is a light green, covered by darker green splotches with red flowing on the length of the spine. Did he look like this?

Papo: An Acrocanthosaurus would be my number one choice. I wouldn't mind owning a crested/horned therapod (Ceratosaurus, Carnotaurus, Cryolophosaurus, or a non-JP dilophosaurus would be ideal) either. At least ONE dinosaur HAS to be a predatory therapod. It's been way too long since Papo has made one. Also, a sauropod and a dimetrodon would be fantastic.
Carnegie: An Allosaurus and a Pteranodon. Maybe an Acrocantosaurus, but I'd rather see Papo do one because I would be T'd off to get a clumsily painted model with blunt teeth.
That's all.

I do feel a Papo Amarga makes perfect sense ... especially since it is a mini-Sauropod of sorts, and Papo has a habit of making small and medium sized figures...

I wouldn't be surprised if we get a new Papo theropod for 2012. Giga/Cerato/Carno are likely candidates.

Yes, yes! A Papo Acro!! Another great choice! And yes, Chris, I wouldn't mind if they did a Carno, haha!
Yes, Carnegie def needs to update their Pteranodon -- desperately overdue! And their Allo and Acro. But I would also like to see an Acro first from Papo.
