I'm in trouble, too, because I just figured out there's a third black and white Theri from Chap Mei that I need...
Boki- you will love the figs, if I hadn't gotten the Chap Mei Theri I would have bought a set!

Is the Great Dinos Theri from Safari in scale at all with the new WS Velociraptors ? I'm thinking I could use it for my pack-attack dino..

;D How many 33 pound Velociraptors do you think it would take to bring down a 6.2 ton Therizinosaurus. It would be like big turkeys against an African Elephant. Admittedly the Velociraptors would be more capable, but the size differential I think would be too great. ;D

Depends on the size of the pack... Ever watch that scene from Lord of the Rings where they take down the big prehistoric looking elephants with little bows and such..and they also mob one of them...so it could be possible..if say 20 or more Raptors went after it..or it was sick or injured...or even a young one...which may work out better considering the size of each model...looks like the Therzino is around 13-14" long and the Velociraptors by WS are 8 1/2" in length.

It may work.

Velociraptors were 7 ft. long, but Theri was 32 ft. I don't think those 2 figs would work.

Well they are from the same region and time period..and considering the scale as I mentioned above...it would be a young Therzinosaurus...if you wanted you could even say that explains all the feathers on it...it could have lost many of em' as it grew up. Really smaller predators have taken down larger ones in nature up to the present day...Allo vs Diplo doesn't look too likley either unless you figure they worked in packs or groups.

With a little imagination it would work ;D blade, are you making a diorama? What is this pack-attack you keep on mentioning? Any photo you can share with us So Theri, better hide your Therizinosaurs collection before those blades raptors attack them

Ummm I'd definitely say that the LotR trilogy is probably not the best reference for how things happen in real life...

Does that Discovery Kids therizinosaur have HUGE HONKIN REVERSED HALLUCES?? Is this supposed to be the 1992 Barsbold interpretation of theri as a prehistoric giant tree sloth?

That's this toy's main flaw.
The reversed hallux turns me off definitely, but that's nothing a scalpel and some putty can't fix.

Boki- They're now under lock and key. ;D Good! ;D Keep them under lock and 24 hour security until Blade is out of his raptor attack phase ;D Not likley to happen any time soon...lol but it won't matter...if a Raptor can open a door...well..they are clever girls.. ;D LOTR might not be realistic..but it's supposed to fire ones imagination..I just used that scene for an example of how it " could " happen..lol I could have also said the same way ants swarm a grasshopper. I've been in a pack building fervor...I haven't been able to build a pack of any species since JP...but the new WS Allos got me started again...these Velociraptors are so easily posed it's just great...so yeah a Theri of some age might be on the menu.. My new Carnegie Diplo moved on to the shelf so the Allos have surrounded my single WS Stego...poor guy.. ;D I'll get pics at some point fer sure...

Eh...the Allo pack the Diplo to play with and the lone Stego ....I still have to buy more than one Velociraptor...I picked up one to test with..but I'm waiting on funds...but it should be three when I'm done.
