where - did - you - get - that Crassigyrinus!!!!! is the mythical (aaaahhhhhhhhhh <------- mystic singing) playvision one? Of course that is--it's the only one ever made by anybody (I guess that can go in that other thread too). It's the only PV amphibian I have as well.

The gigantspinosaurus creeps out of the crevasse it slept in over night. Yes, dragons dwelled in caves. Looks credible ;D

I recognise the style of that model, what's the manufacturer, copyright date etc?

The manufacturer is micromachines, it came out in I think 1998, and they were sold in little packs. There's also a compsognathus, spinosaurus, camptosaurus, ceratosaurus, and triceratops that come to mind I think DeanM has some sets for sale. They're neat little figures, esp. the camptosaur

JP III quote I'm guessing ;D Nice, although they do look photoshopped. I take it you did go to the botanic garden? It looks awfully similar to the one I visited.

Yes tomhet, they were at the garden, although I didn't go, it was my mother who took the pics on her phone (wish I could have gone, though-- It's about 40 degrees out now, and it's about 85 in that place! It's fun to just go in there whenit's freezing out and just sit or read a book ) Some new ones. Er, they aren't new, I took all the pics months ago, but I never saw potential in any of them... Two psittacosaurs in the bush.... Foggy day in the morrison... Acrocanthosaurus hunts a sauropod at night. Galumphing spinosaurus crashes through some sand. A JP-based one. Raptors surround Dilophosaurus. Who will win.... A Homocephale charges a careless Velociraptor. Opthalmosaurus under the surface. And, last but not least, the procynosuchus surfaces yet again...

I really like these. Don't know why you didn't see potential in them. Only complaint is that procynosuchus probably should be making some tracks in the sand. Did you do anything to your papo allosaurus' jaw? Mine doesn't open that far. Either that or maybe I'm too gentle with it.

Because many of them seemed kind of plain or they didn't look right, or there were different shots of the figures that I preffered. And I just opened up the allo's jaws as far as they would go.
