Hello guys! The name is Mark, and it's an honor to be here. I've been fascinated with dinosaurs for as long as I can remember, and I must say it was hard for me to find local people who can relate to my weird interest. I grew up playing with mostly Imperial chinasaurs, though I had a few Marx knockoffs and some JP and dino riders stuff. Back then me and my granny would go to malls and buy plastic dinosaurs, however, these days dino toys all seem so rare here. I currently work as a nurse, though to many people it is blatantly obvious that I am more interested in art, paleontology and zoology. I considered becoming a vet but I didn't want to dissect dead animals. My girlfriend thinks I am weird for pointing out things like differences between gators and crocs, or that we ate dinosaurs at Kentucky Fried Chicken. LOL. I'm sharing my passion for animals with my 4-year-old brother, and I hope my future kids would appreciate such interests too. Wish I could meet other forum members in person. I would cook my favorite dish adobo for you.

Welcome to the forum! I think you'll find you fit in nicely here ;D Ah, if we do ever have the pleasure of meeting, I'll take you up on that adobo One of my best friends is Filipino, he enjoys cooking food for his friends - we had chicken adobo just two weeks ago. Delicious stuff, haha.

Philippines! Gosh! You must not have the same harsh winters as we have here in Canada...

I have heard about Canada's extremely super cold winters... from my uncle there. There ain't no picture of him outside without his arms crossed due to the cold lol! And, yeah, no snow here. Tropical, but the rainy days bring Isla Nublar-esque rainfall. And blackouts galore.

I wouldn't be able to stand a tropical climate I guess. During canadian summers (which can be rather tropical, let me tell you that), I spend entire days in swimming pools and I take my baths in icy water. In fact, I stand more easily the harsh winters than the extra-hot summers. The only thing wrong with winters here, is that there is way too much snow. Snow can be fun, but when it reaches thicknesses of 90 cm in the fields, well, there are not many roads where you can circulate...
