Hey! I found the forum today while looking for a Troodon figurine online. It's great to find others who are familiar with specific species and subspecies of dinosaur and are interested in collecting.
I've noticed there aren't any Troodon figurines available anywhere. I'm an artist myself and am confident I could create models of Troodon- and other dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures not currently sold elsewhere- out of sculpey or similar hardening clay. These sculptures could then be used to make molds, and subsequently, marketable figurines.
But I don't know very much about figure casting and I don't have the materials to make the casts. Also the toxic fumes would harm my pets.
Is there anyone here who is familiar with casting and would like to strike up a partnership? I think it could be both fun and profitable. :)

Haha, so after looking around a bit I found that there is already a sculpt project going on. Silly me! I'd still love to try my hand at it, of course, but I doubt I could match that amazing quality. At least not in the beginning.
Still, happy to be here!

Hello talonart and welcometo the forum! Yes, dinonikes has a sculpt project going on here. You can exchange experience, I´m pretty sure. And there is a Troodon figurine - Invicta plastics from Leicester, England made one in 1987.
