Yeah, inaccuracies aside (especially the Pachyrhino's head), these are quite awesome and detailed. I sure hope they'll get some kind of release eventually. Knowing Hasbro's fondness for using existing sculpts, I'm quite sure we will see these hit shelves some time.

Where did you get the out-of-bag allo picture? I don't see it on the JP toys link.
And, does anyone think it looks suspiciously like the papo allo?

And, does anyone think it looks suspiciously like the papo allo? Right down to the inaccurate single midline ridge on the head by the look of it. But it looks good, regardless of being a bit of a copy...

I just copy/pasted it from the thread at JP-Toys is all.
It does look a lot like the Papo Allo..but the additional ability to pose it more and the dino damage just smacks of old JP toy goodness. ;D

Meh. Not that impressed yet. Doesn't quite give off the same aura as the original JP3 toys. And back when I was a kid I thought that those were top of the line! Maybe a good paint job could save it though.
Edit: Just saw the others. What is up with the Pachy's neck...

Ok, I was just looking at the wrong forum for pics.
I like the carno and allo best, although the carno's face looks a little too short IMO (even for a JP dragon carno). The pachy appears to have the body of a moschops, and I'm not sure how to describe that "neck". ;D

The head is a bit turned towards the viewer, so the other horn is visible I think Marc meant the ridge in the middle of the head, towards the snout. I personally think a low ridge is not impossible as a dermal feature, though mine is very much the perspective of an ignoramus, of course.

Doesn't quite give off the same aura as the original JP3 toys. Thank the Lord for that! After seeing those crappysaurs repainted over and over again for a decade, that's one aura dinosaur fans can certainly do without for the rest of time.

Yeah, even though I don't collect JP stuff, it is very refreshing to see some NEW sculpts. (and a carnosaur, finally) However, isn't it still unclear if these figures will ever be released?

They most likely won't be released as a JP line any time soon, but it's very unlikely Hasbro would just leave quality sculpts like these go to waste. It's very probable we will be seeing these in some form or another somewhere in the next few years. And then for a decade to follow of course. ;D

Like the Papo there are two horns, but not two ridges down the edges of the snout - rather, there is one in the middle in the style of tyrannosaurs. And I agree with roselaar on the JP3 toys. Those toys were rather disappointing after the JP and TLW lines...

So post them here or send them to me.

Eh its JP. If we sit around picking at all the scientific inaccuracies we will eventually make our brains explode. Just accept them for what they are. I'll probably end up getting them haha.

If/when they come out I will certainly pick them up..if for nothing else than being able to re-live that feeling of walking into a store and seeing all those JP Toys again and digging through them...I honestly think my brain did explode that very first time ..lol

There's been more than a few awesome Transformers toys that only surfaced as prototypes years after their lines were cancelled, so it's not like Hasbro is dedicated to releasing everything eventually.
