o0ohh- That dino king futaba is simply delicious.... Yeah, I think I might need one. Point of interest (I bring it up constantly)--the woman that named Futabasaurus, Tamaki Sato, taught me Stratigraphy and Sedimentology waaaay back in my undergrad days. And she was here at my Center only a month ago, looking at some of our pliosaur and plesiosaur specimens. She has also been involved in studying the marine reptiles here--Terminonatator (a plesiosaur) and Dolichorhynchops herschelensis (pliosaur, of course). There are others as well, but those are some of our big ones.

Well, the completest that I am, I'l just have to get one... And here is another one you might like to check out...the dinoking...it arrived yesterday... Wow! It looks beautiful Ah, at least selling my double Battats and WWD was not in vain, the figure looks awesome. I had to sell part of my "investment" figures so I can buy some of those SEGA figures. I can't wait for mine to arrive! I will let you all know how they look (got the spino, styraco, para, saurolopus in addition). And yes, that big foamie plesio is very lightweight, he is just ... big. A regular Safari sauropod weigh heavier that him, serious.

Two questions: How does our resident plesiosaur-guy feel about this correctness fo this one? And two--it appears that there is a swivel or joint at the base of the neck--is the figure articulated?

No the resident plesios guy ;D, but to answer your question about the figures being articulated, yes they are. At least the figures I currently own that are part of the series are all articulated.

;D For $8.00 dollars and for its size? How can you pass that up? It's 99% variety, not accuracy for me ;D And no, I don't have a lot of money, I do however have a change jar just for such occasions ;D ;D You mean to tell me all those Dinosaurs were bought out of a little coin jar? Looks more like it may have come from a 60 gallon barrel. ;D Do you really think I grow $$$ in my garden? ;D You will be surprise how much all of those coins add up. Yes I use small jars, a gallon is waaaay to heavy to carry ;D

It must be tough having extra Battat figures that you must get rid of! ;D Are you trying to find out what my secret is? ;D, Depends on the size of the jar, but I usually end up with $20-30 a jar (mayo one), take about a month. As for parting with my extra Battats, well it was not as hard as parting with my MIB WWD T-rex The Battats were mostly the 'common" one like the stego, pola, ourano, one pachy. I am now down to a single WWW MIB, I have one that is out. I will save him for another rainy day ;D

How does our resident plesiosaur-guy feel about this correctness fo this one? My first impression is that it is good- one of the better ones out there. But I have yet to hold it in person, so I can't judge yet The body looks a bit too deep perhaps - no major quibbles though.

I can't afford any marine reptiles since I have almost no money! That Sega T-Rex was calling me though. It was saying...hey, buy me. I'm pink and am a T-Rex...and I was like....okay.

-Sigh- My dad owns a Radioshack, but he gets most of his money from a place called ALCOA. However, the company shut down and now he's having to support a lot of people by a string. (Even though he has a good job) My mom, once we get home from L.A. is going back to her nurse practitioner job. She makes like 50 bucks an hour 12 hours a day 4 days a week. That's good. So I have to be patient. My mom bought me the tote bag and I don't recall buying chinasaurs.
