Hey everyone, Just thought I'd share some photos of the Playmobil Dinosaur sets I own. Naturally, they're nowhere near as detailed as the likes of Carnegie or Collecta, but they're a lot of fun to play with and a great way to introduce children to the fantastic world of dinosaurs! Pteranodon set. Brachiosaurus w/cave set. Tyrannosaurus rex w/maniraptors and swamp set. Group shot. Triceratops w/exploding volcano set Triceratops parent fights furiously!

If I had any more space and cash, I'd be quite likely to eventually succumb to these too.

Yeah, I love playmobil, and when they came with dinosaurs, I just had to get these. I've had the whole set ever since they first came out!

Sure, but those will be in Europe only this year--here in North America, we are just getting the Ice Age set later this year! There's always a 1-year delay. I have to say, some of the accessory figures are just as exciting (the icarosaurs? are pretty cool).

OMG, that Dimetrodon is all kinds of awesome! Totally agree. But have you see the little Kuehneosaurus in that Set (!!), too? I also like "Velociraptor attack on Deinonychus nest". Haha, Dromaeosaur overkill!!

The plants are very good too! I have to agree--there are lots of great plants in that set--actual, appropriate, prehistoric plants! The horsetails are especially nice. With any luck, maybe Playmobil will sell those plants in their online direct store after a year.

A snake and a scorpion. I guess they are just a prehistoric croc and his hatchling

Say, those aren't too bad even as toys for very young children.

I've seen the old sets, but I didn't buy them. Might have to pick up one of the ones with the Kuehnosaurus,
The stone age sets look pretty nice too. I like that the people look more like actual stone age people than cavemen. Might at least get the little shaman guy and the mammoths if I see them.

Playmobil was always an awesome toy. My cousins and could play for hours with them as kids.
I like how much attention to detail they put in to the sets. The stego set appears to have crocodiles and hatchling stegos.

The new Playmobil sets look really cool, actually, considering they're Playmobil... I used to have tons of the zoo animals around the house. The brand is spectacular. I might have to give in, after years, and buy some sets.
