:)Hey all, here is a sculpt that was originally sculpted by Darren McDonald and he gave it to me to do what i wish with. So i decided it needed some tlc and gave it a new head and reskinned the whole model, its now a 1/2 scale Newborn Camarasaur! about 17" long and 7" tall will come with a small base with egg shell pieces. This will either be a one off sculpt for me to put into my collection or i can have it molded and available as a roto casted resin model for everyone to own? its your call people you tell me what to do (not where to go) and it will be done. if i have enough people telling me they want one then i will get it off to the molders. this one should retail for about 99$ plus shipping, give or take but i will honor those who preorder it at this price regardless of how much it ends up being. It wont be less than that im sure. Attachments:

Here it is closer , as if it needed to be bigger right! Not the best effort here but i just had fun with this one and thought i would post it here and see. Once painted up im sure it would be real cute model. You can even use Realistic resin Water to create a slime coming off the egg shells as if just hatched? hmmmm. Attachments:

Folks, this is going to disappear into Shanes private collection if you don't speak up. Remember, it comes with a small base and egg shell pieces. I think it looks great and is well worth the price. If Shane wants it in his private collection, you know it has to be cool.

It looks cool..not sure I can commit til tax returns are in and see what's what you know ? I would really have preferred it was 1/1 scale too though.

I have a hard time believing that this sculpt isn't close to 1/1 scale. A hatchling double the size of this one, right out of the egg?

I'm not sure myself..every time I search for baby camarasaurs I get a ton of Pleo references.
If this one is half size then the 1/1 scale would be 34" long or so.. I guess an egg about basketball size ?

YES AS I SAID ITS 1/2 SCALE SO DOUBLE THE SIZE . YES CHRIS YOUR DEAD ON THE BABY LIFE SIZE WOULD BE 34 " LONG AND THAT ROLLED UP INTO A BALL WOULD BE SLIGHTLY LARGER THAN A BASKET BALL AND IMAGINE THAT COMING OUT OF A SAUROPOD 60 FEET LONG AND YOU WOULD REALIZE THATS NOT VERY BIG AT ALL, ACTUALLY THE OPPOSITE ,ITS AMAZING HOW SMALL THE EGGS FROM A SAUROPOD ARE CONSIDERING THE SOURCE ITS COMING FROM. IM SURE IF THIS MODEL WAS PAINTED UP TAXIDERMY STYLE PEOPLE WOULD FREAK OUT OVER IT.

I will commit to buying 2 at that price. It would be nice to have a second one in case I wanted to get adventurous and attempt to modify the pose slightly and have two different creatures in the same display setting....
