Well, I'm not entirely without any JP figures even though I stayed away from them. I did however found some figures that I find interesting and decided to get them (most in a lot). Since there is a shortage of permian/triassic creatures in the other toy lines, I decided to concentrate on those first. I am still curious about the gallimimus figure, but unfortunately it is very expensive. In addition to these guys, I do have the Chasmo as part of my ceratopsian collection. Well here they are, collected over time... Estemmenosuchus: He is cool and weird looking! He has a detachable skin patch (main reason I don't like most JP figures) that I may have to glue. Otherwise, he is very interesting looking. The Lycaenops is another one that caught my interest. I believe there is a different version of him? A more colorful one? Anyhow, he reminds me a lot of the now extinct Tylacine of Australia. Finally, a pair of Coelophysis I decided to keep ;D. I love how their tail quiver! So any other interesting one I should consider looking for and acquiring? Looking for the more obscure ones like these guys. [img src="http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p323/Bokichops/S7306962.jpg"

I would not suggest gluing the dino damage- The figure still looks nice with it, and, if you decide to sell it, it will be worth a lot more. There are many versions of that lyceanops. One is called a "lynx' and the other is "tyrannonops"( a cross between a lyceanops and a trex- it is still the same sculpt). Those ceolophysis are also great because they can be posed! Some others for you to buy are: JPs1 triceratops, JP3 triceratops, both ornithosuchuses, and the tapejara.

JP did make a Scutosaurus, which is what I think stoneage is referring to when he mentions the Placerias. It was sold with the Esteemenosuchus as a two-pack. Although it's larger, honestly I like the Dino-Riders Placerias better, it's much cuter, hehee.
Bokisaurus to answer your question about additional figures to look for, I kinda like the JP Tanystropheus (mostly because it's the only one you'll get outside of the Carnegie version and the recent Kaiyodo figure) and the Lost World Stegosaurus, which is a huge improvement over the hideous first version released with the original Jurassic Park line.

How much for the Estemmenosuchus? Do you have the Placerias? ;D I got him for $20 I think. I do not have the scutosaurus unfortunately. i run into him once, but he was bit much $$ wise ( I think he was up to $40). So I will keep looking. Yah, the Tyco placerias is one of the figures I am looking for but have not had any luck finding one that is affordable, say less than $25. I finally got the Tyco proto, he is very cute!

Hey Boki, here in Brazil the JP toys are hard to find, I don't have Jp toys, just a TLW pachy, the green one, with red head. I have the dilofo, trice, spino, raptor (red, black and white) and the rex, all them JP3 toys, but I think that are fakes, I don't see the JP logo on the legs ;D.... I want JP toys, but the coast are expensive to me, the dollar is a high value than the REAL, brazilian money.

There is also a green Lycaenops; I don't know why there are two colour versions. As for those other two--they are pretty much the only JP figures, along with the Lycaenops, that I have felt I needed. It took forever to find ones with the dino damage though.
If anyone is really desperate, I do have an extra Estemmenosuchus with NO dino damage that I could send to a new home.
And the Dino Riders Placerias needs paint work--if mine is any indication, the tusks need to be painted, since they are otherwise just green like the rest of the body (it makes it look odd).

My thoughts exactly. Although I think the Tyco did come with some of its accessories. The scuto on the other hand is by itself ... and someone paid for it! I supposed it's really a popular one since you don't see him often.

The Scuto was a lot less rare on peeBay a few years ago when I got mine.

I have most of the JP's. I'm missing a handful of humans, and vehicles. But my collection is pretty formidable and enviable. I still don't have the scutosaurus, and some of the exclusives that were sold at either Target or WalMart only... Or the command compound...

Maybe when my brother makes it big in Hollywood once January comes around I can get them all!

Of the JP figures, I am only missing the Omega rex (just have not stumbled across it cheap enough) and the handful of super rare figures out there. I have the camo-X tremes that were generally available, (Jungle Spino, Canyon Rex, etc) but not things like the Desert Spino or prototypes of things like the Night Hunter figures that one would have to hunt down and seek top dollar for. I am in no rush to attempt to acquire them either. Too $$$ for my tastes.
I like the series, even though its a little more "cartoony" then some of the lines out there. The "Red rex" from series one is still one of my favorite all time dinosaur figures.
